Feel bad for him can't see any PT in Milwaukee with his talents. Anyway we can get him (definitely not trade Capela), maybe KJ + 1st?

Not all bumps are of high quality.

This bump, however, is high quality.

    Words marked.

Clear and officially on the record.

You might want to scale back the absolutes. People might start to think you are a bit of an idiot.

This explains why he was saying to trade Capela in the game thread last night.

It is fine to talk about basketball and have opinions, but what's this arrogance? Insecure?

Actually Giannis is very high on Thon Maker. Apparently a very hard worker. And Capela didnt play basically until near the playoffs of his rookie season.

    Too early to call ...

But his age does look suspicious

We gotta send this thread to Morey. Failsafe solution for winning: do the opposite of whatever basketbalcoholic says.

People make errors in speculation. Absolutes always come back to bite us. It was not, at that time, crazy to think we would be a .500 team if Capela struggled.

What I didn't understand was why would you expect him to struggle? He was so young (STILL IS) and has exceeded expectations regularly, improving steadily. If you were Capela's boss and you put this kind of ceiling on him after all the hard work AND results, you have to re-evaluate your ability as a strategist.

Obviously we're streaking right now as a team, so this is going to look worse than it might by the end of the season. OTOH, looking at the schedule, we could very well do the same or better.

What happens if Capela goes down and Harrell starts, shoots almost perfect from the field, scores 29 points. And then the Rockets win 19 out of 21 games.

    lolol

If we were not in "Win Now" mode, maybe.

But I really like Capela.....and that underhand FT shooting rookie.

Capella has been a nice surprise and is the best inside big we have. He works hard, can limit penetration against some players and is smart enough to listen to his coach and GM and finish off the PNR with Harden.

Having said that, the system he is in, and having James Harden running the show and Anderson/Gordon/Ariza on the wings to hit threes have all helped hide Capella's flaws VERY well. Clint still has some issues to work on.
