Sit him for this back to back and get him healthy for Memphis. If it costs us one of these two games then so be it.
Rewatching the game, it looks like he sprained his toe at the end of the 2nd quarter. I could be wrong though.
When he was fouled, being pushed out of bounds, he got up limping. He started hitting the tip of his shoe when he was at the line for fts. Then when he was running up the court he continued to favor it and looked at the bench motioning that he was ok.
It's not great for his rhythm, but might be helpful long term too if he sits out a couple of games. Get himself feeling fresh again.
Everytime a read something so innocuous like this (or see Capela's little hit and Bev's unseen pre-season injury), after just witnessing Brewer slipping and crashing onto the court again last night ... I am left wondering, how the hell does Brewer's whirling dervish ass never get injured.
I have a RagĂș, a Bertolli, and a Prego telling me that the sprain can end from kicking a Raptors ass less than 24 hours ago
I'm sure Tyler is a nice kid and I know his contract has value, but a little more guard depth would be good.
They should've never traded Beasley for Tyler ennis. Him and Gordon would've been a nice scoring combo coming off the bench. Where as, ennis can't even get any playing time.
I guess the thinking at the time was D-Mo might be back(eventually) and they needed a backup for Bev. The trade actually made sense. The problem was the player they acquired isn't very good.
