Tell Everyone You Know To Vote Eric Gordon For All-Star!

Although Gordon has played great, voting for him is kind of meaningless since no way he passes harden, curry, or WB. Only 2 of them will be starting in the all star game and the bench are chosen by the coach. But it might be good morale for harden to finish so high

 

Don't the votes only matter for starters? In which case it won't matter because two of Harden/Westbrook/Curry WILL start. After that, it's on the coaches. A vote for Gordon is a vote against Westbrook and Curry (and thus a vote for Harden) so DO IT!

Interestingly I think EG making the ASG will help Westbrook's case for MVP drastically.

I can see the narrative now... Russ is averaging a triple double and carried his team to the playoffs with no other All-Stars while Harden has one coming off his bench! Just a thought I had.

That's what I thought. No way the coaches, player and media choose him to start over Curry/Westbrook/Harden. The latter two definitely deserve to start being the top 2 MVP candidates.

The players and media decide only 50% vote for the starters.
The coaches are 100% vote for the bench.

Therefore Gordon is already out of the running since the first results came out and even if someone got no votes ie Gobert he may become an all star based on the coaches.
If you want to vote for him, go ahead but your vote makes no difference. The only difference you can make is whether you prefer Curry or Westbrook to start next to Harden.

 

I really don't care, sorry. But it'd be fun to see him at the 3-point shootout. The Rockets should have at least 2 players participate in that.

 

Kind of... but be aware that voting for either Curry or Westbrook to start NEXT to Harden could result in both starting INSTEAD of Harden. That's why I'm not totally against the vote for E.G. campaign.

 

Well I hope it's a given that everyone here is also voting for Harden?
But anyway there's no doubt in my mind that Harden will be starting. All the media will vote for him and he has many friends around the league who will vote for him as well.
