Pretty much this. Democrats are doing the same exact thing the Republicans have been doing for the past two decades. Doubling down on stupidity.

I guess you didn't read the report. They can't change what actually happened.

You are scared of WWIII? Really?

It's like you're a battered wife who is afraid to confront or leave her husband even though she knows it's the right thing to do because it might make him angry. We've seen too many times how that works out for the wife.

When Russia commits espionage on the United States, the best course of action isn't to ignore it because you are afraid of making them angry. That only invites the Chinese and half a dozen other nations to do the same kind of thing.

Luckily most of those in both parties aren't so weak.

Of course if you'd like to produce one single shred of evidence that Obama ordered every single intel agency in the United States to somehow fabricate all of the evidence and everything listed in the released report, and have evidence to show that all of that was faked, then please produce it.

So far you've shown NOTHING, NADA, ZIP, ZERO as far as evidence. The intel agencies released a lengthy document of their evidence and findings. All you have some imagined conspiracy involving, Obama, most of the Republicans, every single intelligence agency in the United States, and the courts that issued the warrants for the arrest of Russian hackers. Do you realize how ridiculous that is without one single ounce of evidence to back it up?

Or the DNC doubling down is what lost them the presidency. The left is still painting Trump as the epitome of the RNC. Soon enough, the left will realize what the right did 8 years ago; A Biden presidency will be just as disastrous as a Pence presidency. At least Trump isn't going after gays and abortions. The same can't be said about Pence. Love or hate Trump, at least he's not going to let the full force of the RNC decend upon our country. Appreciate what you have, because it could be much worse.

Where have you been the last 8 year or so ... or since the beginning of the interwebz Beta .01? Russian and china have been hacking all of our government agencies ... successfully. Why are you now just upset when they exposed (allegedly) the unethical and corrupt activities of a private party? Where was your rage when they penetrated actual government agencies?

I've been around for the last 8 years. When China did it we took action. They were exposed, no politicians tired to pretend it didn't happen or that it was doing us favor that it happened. We found out and took action.

In addition nobody has done anything this extensive in an effort to subvert our democratic elections.

Or are you proposing that because we've been hacked before, we shouldn't retaliate anymore when we are hacked?

Let me get this straight. By 'extensive', you mean expose a party's corrupt behavior. Yes, you are correct. This is unprecedented. If only all intrusions were this altruistic.

Are you suggesting China is no longer trying to compromise our government networks? If so, you should stop posting now.

The Russians did more than just computer espionage. Their efforts included propaganda. It including using specific fake news stories, using official state ru Russian TV and media organizations, etc.

China definitely is definitely trying. The United States is also trying. The difference between any of that and what the Russians have done and are doing deals with what's done with the information and how that's used. When it's used to undermine our democracy, it's different. Russia did the same thing in Ukraine. They are doing the same thing in Germany now.

Do you believe the United States should or should not relate against attempts to undermine our democracy?

Remember China, Iran, other nations are watching to see what the consequences are for this type of thing. Russia is watching to see if they should keep doing it.

The Russians have been doing it. Why are we now talking about retaliation?

Fake news stories? Really? Our media is constantly misconstruing politicians words, sometimes in a way that conveys the exact opposite of what they say. Where is you rage over this? Here you are wanting to provoke a foreign power because they are allegedly running fake news stories in their own country.

Do I think we should retaliate because Russia (allegedly) exposed the corrupt behavior of the DNC? Of course I don't, especially considering the current administration and the administration the DNC wanted elected doesn't give a **** about cyber security. The same current administration mocked Romney when he stated we should do something with Russia years ago.

As long as our government continues to meddle in foreign elections, then I full expect other governments to do the same to us. Lets not be hypocrites because your sorry ass candidate lost.

That said, if they were ACTUALLY manipulating the results, then yes, I would be very concerned. But I will not hold a foreign power accountable for the same actions our own parties and media are just as guilty or more guilty ... especially when those who are most offended will not hold their own accountable for their unethical behavior.

I'm guessing you didn't actually read the released report. It says specifically in the report that nothing this extensive has ever been done in regards to an election.

You can cry and moan about fake news stories all you want, but it is an evidence based fact that Russians were spreading fake news stories and paying people to spread them online.

Your claim that the current administration doesn't care about cyber security is also bogus since the U.S. has in fact retaliated when China breached our system.

Hillary wasn't my sorry ass candidate, and the result of the election isn't the issue. I don't know how many times I have to say that. Our nation has never done what the Russians did. They have actually done worse at times, and I've been critical of that.

It is clear you haven't read the released report and evidence, and don't put America first. The only good thing about this post is that you are definitely out on record for wanting to allow other nations to interfere in our democracy. Gross.

    Special Cadet displaying low intelligence.

After Reince Pubis came out with his statement today, one really has to respect President Obama. Instead of leaving a mess for the new administration, he took the advice THE MANY intelligence agencies and took swift action. This man will sorely be missed apart from the group of racist blowhards that met the day of his inauguration hoping he would fail and to do everything to make that happen.

Its almost like speaking to one of those wind up toys, its sad ....because I actually think he just doesn't get it. When you've been raised a certain way ignorance is like a religion. Abiding strictly to it while remaining oblivious to its detrimental effect.

No big reveal. He simply said he know things we don't know and he will let us know. I think he was clearly referring to intel briefing. Of course the briefing was pushed out to Friday and he promptly tweeted "very strange!". After the briefing, he no longer said he doubt Russia isn't involved. Now his message is, there was no evidence hacking affected the election results and being friend with Russia is a good thing with only fools not wanting to be friend.

Hillary Clinton is hiding 30,000 emails from State Department scrutiny.

    Country above party.
