This is a Kremlin propaganda operation that openly attempts to undermine American democracy and its institutions and assisted in the installation of a pliant Kremlin tool as President.

I haven't checked the specifics but I would assume the FCC has some jurisdiction here.

First Amendment isn't really that applicable here, anticipating the first few responses that I will not otherwise see.

Can you explain further why First Amendment wouldn't apply?

Only if the British Government should also be sanctioned for holding public hearings about banning Trump from visiting the UK.

How is that an attempt to undermine our democracy?

All that is is a demonstration of not being pleased with the outcome of our democracy.

Nope. First Amendment might actually apply once their product is distributed through American retail publishing or communications channels.

Should we sanction Fox News? Sean Hannity interviewed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

    LOL.

Get over it already. She lost. It's official.

The outcome was not known at that point.

The British parliament interfered with our election process by holding hearings to condemn one of our presidential candidates. They knew what they were doing. But Obama, the Democrats and their hand-puppets in the media expressed no objections to any of that, for obvious reasons.

In fact, both that incident and this one with the Russians (such as broadcasts by RT) should have been handled the same way, which is to make a statement calling attention to this behavior and then leaving it to the voters to sort it out however they think best. No sanctions. No sore-loser blame-shifting. Just deal with it and move on.

That isn't in doubt and hasn't been in doubt. The only doubt is whether or not some Americans are willing to hold those accountable who tried to undermine and change our democracy.

Proposing legislation for their own nation is not the same as espionage against another nation's democracy.

Whether or not you want to say anti government stuff is entirely separate from terms and conditions of FCC licensing, which regularly deals with content based restrictions.

Should the same actions be taken against anyone who has ever leaked information detrimental to the DNC's campaign? What about criticism of Hillary Clinton in general, should that be sanctioned? Are we going to hold the same standards for those who leaked similar information about Trump?

No votes were "hacked". No votes were altered. So let's quit calling it an election hack or undermining of democracy, and instead let's call it what it is: a campaign hack.

Hillary was sanctioned with a loss in the general election. The people of the DNC who did wrong were sanctioned and forced to resign. I don't know about the leaks.

If anyone in any campaign leaked things to the Russians then they should be found and tried for espionage.

We've seen the Intel report. It was an attempt to undermine our democracy. Now either you are in favor of standing up to those that commit espionage and try to undermine our democracy, or you favor sending the message that it's okay. That's your choice.

Alright, then. Keep me posted on the sanctioning of a media group with an American subsidiary, for no other pretext than to undermine the credibility of the incoming administration.

The Obama administration, the Democrats and much of the media have been working together without pretext to undermine the credibility of our election process and the credibility of the incoming administration, not only by invoking the Russians, but also through the state recount attempts and the court challenges.

Sam, you're still Bitter McBitterson about the election? Russia cast zero votes, therefore they did not determine the winner. Also, have you introduced some diversity of thought into your friend circle, as I told you to do? You need this, in order to supplement your Williamsburg hipster legal crew.
