It's tough to deal with schizophrenia,there is no way around to monitor patients, once they feel better they will skip their medication, in seemingly endless cycles
I know that he was in the military, so he probably legally purchased that gun, but how does someone with a history of mental illness not have their gun rights revoked? I have no issues with the 2nd amendment, but this is something that should be standard.
The boxcutter thing is likely a myth. They don't actually know what weapons the hijackers had. They may not have had guns, but before one of the flights went down, an attendant on the airplane mentioned them having guns or knives.
