Yeah he should have said something earlier.

PFT is stirring it back up saying it's O'Brien who is not happy. So who knows at this point.

I just want to win playoff games...now.

Well, PFF might have aa poiint. Thats the only scenario that makes any sense for these ongoing rumors, with no one stepping up to confirm or deny anything. I mean, ****, he does coach a team owned by bob mcnair and ran by his step child puppet. What a joke of ownership.

Look who comes crawling out after a W, one of O'Brien biggest apologist on here. Hey, O'Brien having Crennel on his staff has been one of the few good things he's done since being here. His main role which has been building a competent offense overall has not happened up to this point. The defense today set the tone again for the team. I give credit to Brock for looking decent today but overall O'Brien's play calling was still horrible most of the game.

Hard to say, man. There's a helluva lot of smoke. Not saying it's true, but this reached far too many people that are in the know.

They need to promote Rick (since they won't fire him) and bring in someone that OB works better with.

What is he supposed to do, call a news conference to address ass covering leaks from O'Briens camp?

It's normal for the owner to get interviewed after the game not before.

If O'Brien is starting Brock, can we really keep saying that Brock is forced on him?

Savage, a much better QB, is ready to play.

yeah but this is Playoffs Brock. Dude was definitely passable at QB today. It would be hard for O'Brien to justify benching him in favor of Savage after his decent outing with zero interceptions--especially since Savage has far less experience. Its the only move he could've realistically made given the circumstances.

Oh, I dont know.... Maybe tell Aaron Wilson that the rumors are false, so Aaron Wilson can go ahead and shut the whole rumor mill down with one single tweet.

And yes, you can still say brocks forced on him.He started him cause Savage is still under the concussion protocol.

It would be pretty stupid to bench a QB with more playoff passing TD's this season than the guy you'd put in for him has in his entire career. Only in Mr. Clutch's mind is Savage the better option.....and that has something to do with him being upset about his boy Hoyer getting cut

Tell Aaron Wilson? Like tweet at him?

Savage could easily get cleared for the next game. In my mind you go with the better QB.

You don't go with the QB that forces you to run your RB 30+ times at 2.4 yards per carry.

Sorry for not posting after they 'lost' to TEN. Why would O'Brien need an apologist btw?

How do you know which plays were called by O'Brien? Did they give you a headset? Your critique resembles a tweet from DJT.

    My bad PFT not PFF

I know that's not what they do and I don't have a link.

I was listening to 610 after the game, they played the B Mac interview when he said he wouldn't fire O'Brien. Right after, one of the hosts said PFT was saying it was OB that has the issue.

The Texans ONLY FIRE YOU AFTER YOU GO 2-14
You *have* to give them a #1 Draft pick to be freed

You do understand Bob is the owner right? You do know Aaron Wilson covers this team right?
Its not hard for Bob to tell his lackey ricky smits to go fetch Aaron Wilson and tell him what the hell is going on with the rumors. Bobs hands never touch twitter and never should.

Are you confusing me with bobby or something? I dont know why youre arguing Savage over brock to me? I agree.

My bad. PFT Pro Football Talk and here it is.

    http://wp.me/p14QSB-adMO

"The situation arises from friction between O’Brien and G.M. Rick Smith. But the team’s position is that, in an intense industry like football, people aren’t going to always get along. They don’t have to get along; they just have to work together."
