Like the wizards game this week, this is probably a game that we lose last year. Love how this team grinds out wins in tough games. The Magic played pretty good D but we (wait for it...) made adjustments and pulled it out. Something a McHale team never could find a way to do.

How many kids have the exact same "physical tools" etc. I'd say tons. Again system doesn't make a player play

Rockets have started to resemble the "Thrilla in Manila" method of winning games.

Let the other team splurge early and then the Rockets begin to unload and take over as the game goes on.

I like the team who blew other teams out in the first quarter.

You are correct. How many of these kids are flourishing right now like Capella and Trez? You think Trez can score 29 pts on a Memphis style system? They are prime examples of what this system can do to bigs.

Additionally, when have you seen a 2nd round pick who did not play much on his rookie year, get minutes on his second and all of a sudden average 9 pts a game on a CHAMPIONSHIP caliber team? The only thing he does is roll, be a weak side defender and run.

So with that said you want a kid to come in and rely on him just bc you believe the system will make him play well without risk

There are risks with any decision that any of us makes. The questions is always risk to rewards ratio. If we need a stretch C, we don't have to trade and lose anybody else. We took a risk with kids like Capella and Trez and it has paid dividends. Not saying the results will be the same with Qi but his current skill set seems to be a good fit with what we are doing.

What's makes you think Harden didn't get his attention during OKC's run?

Regardless, it's doubtful most Rockets fans thought Harden would be this good.

They made the deficit up in 1:59. We hit a bucket with a foul to take the lead at the 10:01 mark. Like boom!
