b2b on a very hyped up and crazy game last night. it's bound to happen. it's impressive the rockets got a win out of it still.
No need to name call. I'm glad he stepped up. He is the second highest paid player on the team. That's HIS JOB. Like any position in life if you don't deliver you will get called out.
A win is a win and I ain't going to complain. Harden is actually on track for career high % this season, if you take a look at this past seasons he seems to go into a funk around now and really picks it up from February > end of season. I guarantee his 3p will be 37-38% by seasons end. Should be shooting around 45-46% too. In saying all that, if there's one thing I just don't understand about Harden it's his shot selection sometimes. For example take tonight, he made his first two shots of the game, both in mid range. For the rest of the game he took one more mid range jumper, and bricked 8 threes. I mean... really? I get that the mid range shot is one of the worst shots in basketball, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't shoot them at times, especially if he's making them. He is a good mid range shooter but he rarely goes there and it frustrates me to no end. If he doesn't take the mid range j enough he becomes too predictable, because you know when there's 5 seconds left he's just going to hoist a three. So many times tonight he used the screen and he had a mid range j right there, only to pick up his dribble or pass the ball back out. I know he is running on fumes right now as is the rest of the team but I just don't get it that much. If there's one player on this team who should be allowed to shoot a mid range j it should be harden. I know it's not as efficient but it helps keep the offense just a little bit less predictable and would help keep defenders on edge. Just my two cents.
Oh please. Miss a couple shots youre supposed to take and you're going to "call him out" he misses just like any other player in this league. Sorry he doesn't hit %100 of his shots. He must be better to satisfy you. Smh
Go easy on the kid. He's been key to several of our wins recently. Asking any more of him is pure greed.
It's incredible isn't it? Someone always seems to step up like Anderson tonight and Nene last night. When everyone is shooting well we get those 30 point blowouts. The Magic must be thinking WTF Harden played like crap, Gordon shot the 3 terribly, we didn't foul James, and we killed them in the paint and boards and still lost?!?! One very noticeable difference is we are 2nd in the league in team assists this year. Last year too much ISO and no easy shots.
Why the hell Coney B is still in the squad??? 0-4.... Especially his smile on the face after a missed shot makes me fill not good.... Man, i got say we are gonna got killed by this dude in the playoffs. I have grown to the petition: GET RID OF CONEY.
I've followed him all year. Please let us know when he became this black hole you believe he is. If a black hole is a deep + %40 shooter with range next to harden. Sign me up any day
I never said he was one. Go read my statement again. And I was referring to him struggling lately with his shot plus the fact that he's a poor defender. Like I said before, I'm glad he stepped up b/c that's what he's paid to do.
I hope u watch the whole game and not listen to da media and look at stats. Anderson had been pretty decent at defense and he shoots very well not as much as Eric Gordon, but he's the sniper we never had to pair with harden.
Someone hasn't followed him enough. Might want to try watching actual games instead of reading generic reports. But ok whatever you say
didn't see you calling out harden this game, or nene, trezz, brew... and looking at your past history, all you do is criticize. you don't give players credit when it's due.
Missed the game, but going by the box score, I am going to guess the win was a total team effort, correct? Our players are getting tired. We need a infusion of a couple of bench players to replace some dead bench weight in Innis and Brown. Lastly, Harden looks like he could take one or two games off to recharge. Either that, or he will be gassed by end of the regular season. Hence, the need to get better bench players.
Somebody please set me straight here as i have seen "over 500" calculated differently. We have played 38 games so shouldn't .500 be 19 and that we are 10 games over ? Thanks.
