He totally ran into him with his body after missing the block, open air tackle basically. That was not a straight up and down play. Definitely a foul.

Chucker Westbrook scored 49 on 34 shots, or 1.44 points per shot. Harden had 26 on 16 shots, or 1.625 points per shot, and did a lot of other things that Westbrook did not do. James is hands down the MVP. Will OKC even finish with a winning record?

Exactly. You can't tackle the shooter after the ball is free because it's late in the game.

Not really. D-Rob and Dream guarded each other. Roberson is a good defender. Bev looked rusty. But hey, if we are more successful in the playoffs then Russ can have the individual award.

Harden didn't win the game. His team did. Just because a certain team wins or loses, doesn't mean you evaluate individual players based on that.

Bev is always so dependable in crunch time. He evolved his game so much from when he first came undrafted. Da soul of the team. 8 rebounds over those giants.

Not to mention he hits Nene in the head....it is 100% a foul.

To me that's clearly a clean block, and in these situation you never see a foul called for that. We'll see the report tomorrow but i bet this is a wrong call.

Harden is part of the team. When team wins he wins. Basketball is a team sport hence why Westbrook didn't win. U can only carry so far. Harden learned that the hard way, Lebron learned it hence he went to Miami.

Very opposite... like we're 19 games over .500 and they're 5 games over. Very different ball clubs as far as how they get things done.

I hope he can rebound as well as Dennis, then we will have a legitimate chance for WCF.

    Too much body
Even if you get the block . .you cannot wipe out their body in the aftermath
    People get injured that way

Good teams win ugly games. As great as Westbrook is, he doesn't get his teammates involved as Harden does. Harden is at the next level in terms reading the game and get teammates involved in the game rather than relying on impulse and athleticism. That's why team record matters. for the MVP consideration.

I'm sure by the time he retires he will hold the all time record for most losses after scoring 40+ pts.

And the OKC guy grabbed the rim for basket interference. Should have been an And1.

Great win. Westbrook had the best shooting night of his career from long range, we got crushed on the boards most of the night, but we still won. Great great win.

Nene was very productive offensively, and Beverley always comes up with the big play.

Gordon had his usual superb game.
