He's not going to be traded. This is clickbait. BUT, if he were... Gordon, Ariza, Harrell, 1st Round pick for Butler, Grant, Portis? Do the Bulls even consider that? They get two starters, a pretty good backup PF/C, and a late 1st round pick. Can Wade play PG? If so, start Wade, Gordon, Ariza, Gibson, Lopez. But this does not rid them of their Rondo problem.
If Butler were to be traded? He could go to Minnesota. Boston. He can go there. He can go over yonder. But he won't come here.
I know Ainge is probably hogging that phone line right now. Honestly I don't know if i want Butler because we'd most likely have to trade valuable pieces to get him. The only way we could get him without losing valuable pieces is if a third team comes in but, i highly doubt any team would want to help us.

Honestly, IF Butler were being made available, that means the Bulls are in FULL REBUILD mode. And they will look to jettison more than just Butler. Guys like Taj Gibson etc. They will be looking for draft picks and rookie contract players. Clearly Boston would head the list. This is the kind of move I could see the Bulls doing if "GarPax" were trying to save their jobs and not be forced to sacrifice Hoiberg due to the underperforming. GarPax put together a terrible supporting cast around Butler.
He would be great. But we don't have enough to get him. Dekker, Harrell, and what? You can't trade both Capela and Harrell without getting a center in return.

Gar Pax's seats are creaking right now. Nothing surprising here ..they almost traded him in the draft. However doubt it will happen. They are hard to make trades and will rightfully so ask too much. On top of it, if they trade Butler now they won't have to extend him for the vet max extension. imo the teams that are interested is Minny, Denver, Phoenix, Boston and lol Miami. Denver has the best chances to get him.
IF Hoidberg is fired so will Forman. 100%. Their fates are tied. Not only Gibson but also Mirotic for sale.
Dumb move by the Bulls. If you have a top 10 player, you find a way to build around him, they are too rare to just dump to rebuild, especially when he is still so young. They've done a terrible job with that entire team. I think he would be a great fit at the 3 here, but this team is too good right now and I wouldn't want to screw up chemistry unless you can get him involving mostly draft picks.
