This mess started in July when we signed Anderson after telling DMo how badly we wanted to keep him. That was a line of deception. We only wanted to keep him on a cheap deal. And the manipulation continued throughout the summer and into the season. This is not over. It was/is being kept private so that the new CBA would be ratified. This is a significant case and eventually all the facts will come out. There will be penalties and a greater accountability and uniformity required by teams regarding all physicals and dealing with restricted free agents.
This is an outrage! I demand an investigation! You can't manipulate and deceive! Oh, you'll see, you'll all be very very sorry! Now you listen to me! Get those doctors back in here! Turn those MRI's back on! Turn those MRI's back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is incorrect. His contract with the Nets was not even one year fully guaranteed. The Nets can cut him in Jan and March if needed.
Wait on the preview write up for the Pelicans vs Hawks game it says that he signed the vet minimum at 1.1mil -- this can't be true right?!
1. The last time when the Rockets tried to dump him, he failed the physical with the Pistons, so that is the last time his health status well known and proved to the public. 2. Before and after the trade, his performance in the Rockets team last season was more like a scrub than the level of your imagination. 3. When healthy and when he doesn't suck, TJ also put up the same IF NOT BETTER number than Dmo, and TJ is healthy now, and where the fork he is playing now and how much he got paid? Its one thing to be passionate to support the player that you like, but when you need to make up some conspiracies theories, under the table stories to support your own fantasies, well, what is the difference between you than a LOF?
Technically its not true, because he missed almost 2/5 of the season, so he probably will only get about 600K.
I'm very curious to see DMo actually play NBA basketball again. We're going to find out really quickly how healthy he really is and whether or not he was actually worth $8 million a year. I'm betting that he doesn't make it through the rest of the season before having to miss significant time again.
Yes, because once a professional sports team tells a player that they want to keep him, everyone knows they're supposed to immediately cease all efforts at improving the team at that same position. Common sports knowledge. Little wonder DMo felt taken advantage of, since he has never played professional sports before. And the cleanup on Aisle C continues...
Too bad, the game starts at the same time as ours But it's time for DMo to prove what he said to Dwight Howard : "Catch me if you can"
