I followed the link. I guess they are referring to 9 out of 10 kids are in school globally. That makes more sense than 93% of kids learned how to read this year. Very poorly worded sentence.
Yeah, I guess I know from my own students that being in school or sitting in class is not equal to learning the material. LOL. Good point. Still though, it's a positive if we've got the vast majority of little humans in *some* sort of schooling, and it's positive if that number's been climbing. That's mainly why I liked that one.
