    Even with already 16 triple doubles, Westbrook hadn't reached this

    Here's to the real MVP

    EDIT: Before someone corrects me, Westbrook was the November Western Conference Player of the Month.

    But because of Harden we are a contender, unlike Westbrook and OKC

    This is huge for his MVP case. It verifies team record still matters when it comes to these things, which is a huge leg up on Westbrook.

    I'm pretty sure that Westbrook won Western Conference Player of the Month for November.

    In total I don't really know. I think this is number 3. He won it twice last year in December and January if my memory serves.

    Edit: He won it in December and January for 14/15(Runner up MVP season) and he won it last year in April so that is 4 total so far.

    True but I think he averages more points against OKC than any other team. At least I remember hearing that prior to last time we played them.

    I know it's bizarre. He had tons of HUGE games against the Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, Adams versions of the Thunder, but this group has somewhat befuddled him somehow so far.

    Eh, I'm not really worried about that game provided that Bev suits up. The Thunder will be on a B2B, so the Rockets should win as long as they don't spot OKC a double-digit lead like they did with the Knicks and Wizards.
