Ehh fake news is the new buzz word. The fake news scare in itself is fake news. You are right in that its been around forever, but not in the sense of dishonest articles intended to discredit people. Fake news is generally satire. The Sun, the National Inquire, The Onion or even this very site (http://www.clutchfans.net/april_fools/1999/index.html) are forms of fake news. Reasonable subjection, opinionated or accusatory claims are not form of fake news. Hillary running a child sex-trafficking ring out of a pizza shop is not a reasonable accusation.
Why is this movement to condemn fabricated falsified revenue generating click bait such a sensitive topic for those on the right? Edited response to correct myself and hold myself accountable
every MSM outlet is using the term "election hacking" to described nothing more than leaked emails it's intentionally misleading fake news, and having the desired effect with Democrats who want to maintain their delusions
Because it was hacking. They fished for passwords, got some, then inserted viruses onto the computers to get more passwords and usernames, they then used those to mine the emails and other electronic documents. In addition they used operatives paid by Russians to push fake news stories and propaganda into the system. Again, you can keep pretending the Russians did nothing, but you need to own up to the fact that you are excusing foreign espionage against the United States and stop pretending that you are doing otherwise.
I haven't seen any news stories claiming that the vote tally totals were hacked. Some people may believe that is what happened, but I haven't seen anyone pushing that fake news story. Please list some examples
So now we believe in polls ? Either way you look at it, more than half of all voters are idiots on those two questions. Welcome to the USA, the States of ill-informed voters.
You're the expert here so I am going to defer to you. How does one get malware onto (DNC) computers if they are using a gmail exchange server?
another analysis of fake news in a mainstream media outlet: https://ethicsalarms.com/2017/01/01...d-reporting-part-i-the-new-york-times-school/
low budget production during some hurricane coverage, Cooper was in Baton Rouge doing his coverage. I just happen to be there seeing it live. The CNN crew went from spot to spot and I was wondering WTH they were doing. Turn out, they were looking for a place with the most wind to do the coverage. The problem is there was not much of any wind in BR area. They chose to go all the way down to the Mississippi river bank to catch the breeze there. Showbiz.
