Well when your "starting QB" has 1 career start, you need to get them all the reps possible. Also, like I said in the thread, Osweiler got more passing TD's this game than Savage has in his career.....they kind of wanted to see if Savage could pick up his first passing TD EVER....and he couldn't.
We don't know for certain it's going to be a short week as the schedule hasn't been released. If they're in the protocol, are they prevented from attending meetings? Hopefully he'll get cleared in time to get practice in.
Watching Landry Jones make passes to his target by leading them is making me ill - how hard can it be to find a decent QB? DD
During the protocol you can't do anything with the team till you are cleared. It takes at least a couple of days to get cleared even if you are seemingly 100% the next day that means that at best he'd have 3 days to prepare before the game....and that's if it is on Sunday. If it's on Saturday your best case scenario is him being available for 2 days of prep work.
So what's the outcome scenario? If Oakland beats Denver, we play Oakland first round next week? And vice versa? What about the SD vs Kansas game? Can someone explain? Thanks.
Should have stopped right there. Just watch and enjoy sports entertainment as a fan. It's funner and less stressful.
If the Raiders win or the Chiefs lose, we get the Chiefs. If the Chiefs win and the Raiders lose, we get the Raiders.
He was hit by a fierce gust of wind after easily picking up a firstdown down on a sneak to the left side. Wind should have been flagged and ejected for helmet to helmet targeting.
So basically, we want the Chiefs to beat the Chargers and the Broncos to beat the Raiders so we can play Raiders next week? Or do we not want to play the Raiders?
