Credit to Osweiler for avoiding the sack despite absolutely instant pressure. Anyway, this was a fun exhibition, sucks that Savage got hurt but there were some positives shown by Osweiler and not much else to take away from the game.
Only thing that looked stupid was the texans offense on that last drive. So much for 6-0 in the division and 10 wins. Now their 0-0. Be optomistic... just dont get a heart attack over the outcome on that first playoff game.
His true colors are that he struggles when the O line doesn't block at all? I'm pretty sure that's literally every QB in the history of football.
lol Bobby's favorite player is back and he's in full Brock defense mode again. Probably the worst thing that has happened as a result of Brock starting again.
I just saw on the espn that savage went out of the game with a concussion. How bad was the hit? Is it likely he will still be in the concussion protocol and miss the playoff game?
It didn't look bad, but due to the short week and the concussion protocol he has to make it through, I doubt he'll start. There just wouldn't be any time to prep him for the game.
I am not a football head at all. But man if you are playing a meaningless game why play your starting quarterback a single snap? As bad as Rick Smith is, the decision to play your quarterback in meaningless game is squarely on the coache's shoulders.
