His bball IQ is not on an NBA level. His jumpshot is not on an NBA level. He can ride the pine in the US or get some run overseas. Probably make more money riding the pine though.

They bring energy, and Harrell had a great offensive game a couple nights ago, but Dekker has gone 0-8 on 3's the last couple games. It doesn't help when he doesn't score, but he helps out more on rebounds, and has moments where he brings the kind of Defense we need when Ariza needs a rest I miss Clint though, because he is better at defending the rim and blocking shots. Not only that, but he gets twice as many rebounds per game as Nene or Harrell. Harrell just isn't much of a rebounder at all. Our defense suffers without Beverly and Clint, but I love the variety of options we have for different looks with such a talented bench. I really want to see more of Wiltjer though, so he can develop more. He has a lot of potential!!

KJ is better than Brewer. But Brewer gets his paltry playing time to hopefully give him some kind of value.

KJ probably has an attitude because a worse player is getting time ahead of him and he and the entire team know it.

MDA yanked KJ from a game and yelled at him (back when KJ was playing well) when he blew a defensive assignment. I haven't seen him play rotation since that game. I do not know if any confrontation happened outside of MDA just going ape **** about a blown assignment, but it seemed harmless considering all the r****ded things Brewer does. For all of you saying that KJ just flat out sucks... He is not bright at all, but if he can be kept on a short leash he will be a MUCH better player than Brewer. I am guessing MDA likes Brewer because Brew knows what to actually do, he just messes up. KJ doesn't actually know what to do and messes up.

Harden: "Well, you ain't GREAT, because that's reserved for me."

Felton on the floor for 31 minutes was - 12 while Brewer was +29 in only 16 minutes.

Most of Felton impact was done on Beverly

Brewer play 28 minutes and was +1 while Jennings played 40 minutes and was - 10.

As you see Brewer never play enough minutes to be blame for their performances and he was a + on the floor while KG in his limited time and playing mostly against the other team bench leftovers has been a - all year.

The bench unit has been playing well. Since Brewer is part of that unit, I'm ok with not rocking the boat.

The most glaring thing with KJ is that, he's not a good defender. He's a great shot blocker but his length is average. In the NBA its better to be long than athletic. Look at Ariza, he bothers alot of shots just by being long.

In the NBA perimeter defense is mostly about fighting over screens to contest shots. IN that sense Brewer is a better defender than KJ. He's more active, fights over screen ALOT better and longer.(brewer 6'8, KJ 6'5) The only thing KJ has over Brewer is those highlight reel blockshots which as a guard isn't really that important. The Rockets prefer their guards to stay home to shooters.

Offensively they're both bad but Brewer has gotten to the point in his career where he knows where to go to not hurt the offense. His points come entirely off of cherrypicking, cutting to the basket and the occasional corner 3. KJ doesnt know who he is yet. When hes not getting lobs, he is hurting the team. When you watch Dekker and Brewer, they're active, cutting alot even when they don't get the ball. KJ doesn't move on offense, he doesn't know where to go.

Because KJ is clearly worse than Brewer, and that's saying something.

If KJ was better the coach would play him more. He has not looked very good the last few times he came in.

Philly traded him for Isaiah Canaan, who was not playing well at the time. McHale didn't play him, Bickerstaff didn't play him, and now D'antoni isn't playing him after giving him a shot at the beginning of the season. He sulks even when we're winning and plays like ass in garbage time. When four different coaches/teams have rejected him, maybe it's on him to be a better teammate and player. I was ecstatic when we traded for him, but the bust is obvious.

Watch the game, Felton and Jennings lit Brewer up constantly. +/- isn't a useful stat in for single games.

Sorry supreme lord, I guess we aren't allowed to talk about anything other than harden anymore.

Lol, I posted this thread before Harden's incredible night by the way.

Well said. Especially how he plays now. Very selfish offense even though it clearly isn't a strength.
