Damn. What a classy and humble interview. Even Harden acknowledges that he has to work on keeping his turnovers down. What a guy. We are blessed to have such a self aware and dominant player. I have nothing but the utmost respect for James Harden.
Thank you Morey for trading basically nothing for one of the greatest athletes this city will ever see. 53/16/18. My goodness
I've never thought I'd say this but Harden has the potential to become the greatest Rockets player ever.
maybe he will always be turnover prone, he has had turnover issues since college, but if he can maintain his 12 assist average turnovers wont mean much, a lot of great players led the nba in turnovers.. kidd, magic, lebron http://www.nbadraft.net/players/james-harden Weaknesses: Ended the season with two very poor performances in the NCAA Tournament, which has unfairly taken some luster off of a great season (he faced zone defenses on both occasions and it forced him to play out of his comfort zone)… Does not posses the great size that many have at his position … His leaping ability and quickness are only marginal, which forces him into tough and contested drives and makes it hard for him to get by people … Even though he has worked on his drives going right, he is still not nearly as comfortable and effective as he needs to be … Defenders have a much easier time cutting of his driving lanes when he does go right … His midrange game will need to become more polished, his ability to make shots off the dribble before the helpside D rotates will be key … He has become turnover prone at 3.4 per game, but this is mostly a result of being asked to do too much …
This link should really put this game in perspective as far as how it fits within NBA History... http://www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-pm-triple-double-kings/
i am having a hard time finding comments from notorious Harden haters such as cheke64 or swwwyguy (or whatever) please let me know when they show up again around these parts, in the meantime Happy New Year Rocket fans!!!! lets enjoy the best player we have had in decades. #FearTheBeard
it really is crazy that the best athlete in the city has haters like this. When Westbrook and Curry have bad games, you dont see their fans turn on them, people say its just one game. Maybe some of these harden haters who post here are trolls from the media trying to divide the fanbase.. i dont know stranger things have happened
Crazy stat : I mentioned in the game thread that this fool was trying to get a double triple double (basically my made-up name for getting a triple double in each half). It turns out, he almost did it : First half : 24 pts, 9 rebs, 10 asts Second half : 29 pts, 7 rebs, 7 asts This has seriously got to be one of the greatest triple doubles ever and possibly one of the 2 or 3 best stat lines by a Rocket ever.
I'm curious to hear what Steve Nash thinks about James Harden's season so far. He is getting close to 30 ppg 12 assists and however many rebounds. He is eclipsing NASA's two MVP seasons at this point.
