    We are witnessing the birth of an elite NBA team. D'Antoni has turned Harden into a monster. The way this team can go on quick 10-0 runs and bury the hopes of an opponent is GSW-esque. This team is absolutely for real.

    Without porzingis and melo right? That's why I was pretty surprised about the comeback. I saw they were down 20 and came roaring back. Same thing with the clippers I guess and inherent to the rockets style of play.

    In any case, good win and the Beard continues to impress! Happy new year!

    Bingo! That's a great point. The Rox can score so much in quick bursts, it deflates the opposing team's confidence. In a blink of an eye they were down 5 and up 5 before the half. Once Capela comes back and rotations are solidified, they need to tighten up defensively and peak before the playoffs. This team can make some noise, but I believe we're still one defensive specialist away from realistically contending. Hopefully Morey addresses this deficiency at the deadline. On another note, Beverley was solely missed tonight. His tenacity is our Rocket fuel, to propel us to the Finals and hopefully another banner.

    I like both teams. Harden was undeniable good but he also got some belated Xmas gifts behind the 3 point line.

    Before the phantom foul on Holiday leading to three made free throws and the other play with the bogus flagrant foul, it was a 3 point game.

    Congrats to the Rockets. Their defense is legit these days (maybe except Brewer). The Knicks surprisingly played well. Jennings has heart and Rose had his moments.
