I've been on vacation since the 22nd and was waiting to get home to a proper computer to fully enjoy this. Well worth the wait. Loved it. Breaking down a play is always at the top of my list for analysis. Great job.

I've always thought the difference between star players and everyone else is consistency. Ariza may have a 25 point game once in awhile but Harden does it every night.

Gordon is just as consistent as any star player he just gets less minutes and usage. Even if given more shots I think he wouldn't slow down a bit.

Absolutely brilliant signing by Morey and IMHO the main reason the Rockets are as good as they are this year.

Eric Splash Gordon reminds me of the 76ers deadly shooter Andrew Toney. He was just that -- dead accurate with his shots.

Morey wanted him earlier - he is a great addition, and actually a PERFECT fit with D'Antoni, he doesn't have to work nearly as hard in Houston.

Eric Gordon's 130 3-pointers lead the NBA. (Suck it, Steffy!) Semi-decent bench signing, I suppose.

Not really a fair comparison, Gordon plays with the best player in the nba and curry only has the most overrated 2 way player in the league, a donkey, and a traitor p***y

It's interesting how much more effective Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson are in Houston than they were in New Orleans. This is even with Alvin Gentry, Mike D'Antoni's one-time assistant and successor in Phoenix, being the head coach over there.

Well, Monty Williams was there for 5 years, way longer than Gentry.

Injuries played a part. As did the absence of a playmaker like Harden setting up open looks for them.

not that interesting. They haven't played with anyone with the caliber & effectiveness of a guy like Harden that opens up a ton for them.

MVP Harden is elevating their games. That is what MVPs do. They elevate their teammates. Maybe the national media should take notice of this aspect.

Yeah, but EGO is averaging 29 points per 36 minutes with Harden on the bench, too. MVP Harden elevates EGO even with his cheer-leading.
