So are we just gonna ignore the fact that Jameis Winston is on pace for a 5,000 yard passing season

Flacco is a bad comparison for Jameis. Jameis is a difference maker at QB. He makes big time throws and gamechanging plays. If Jameis doesn't succeed it'll be because his big time throws are canceled out by his affinity to turn it over.

Andrew Luck is a much better comparison. Both guys are big home run hitters but also turn the ball over a ton.

 

The Bucs have been putting a lot of resources into the defense, and they have some very nice pieces there in McCoy, Alexander, David, Grimes, and Hargreaves. They were supposed to be set at RB, but the muscle hamster is up and down. Injuries have hampered both lines. If they can shore up the o-line in the draft and get some depth on the D-line, I think they look good next year for a playoff push.

 

I think the same can be said for the majority of the teams in the NFL.

 

So far Winston nor Mariota has proven they are special.
