Savage was 16-22 for 145 yards in the second half. If OB hadn't gone super conservative, running every 1st and 2nd down and only throwing in obvious passing situation on our way to a 3 and out, and had attempted more than 7 passes in the first half, we wouldn't have been below 200 yards passing. And yeah, we're a good rushing "team" but that's mainly Miller. Blue is very inconsistent and only averaged 3.5 ypc. He did have that nice TD run, but that one run counted for 1/3 of his total yards. Without it, he was averaging 2.5 yards per carry. And on a side note, considering Blue was getting stuffed most of the game, I'm disappointed that Akeem Hunt didn't get more than one carry.
Texans are 7-1 at home. With this defense, they could certainly beat anybody, especially if they don't turn the ball over like they did yesterday.
I wish I could say something like "need to win ugly games like this" but EVERY game this season has been ugly. Great defense. Horrific offense. Terrible coaching. I'm more hopeful w Savage in the Playoffs, and excited that he'll get some great experience, but this team is bad.
So we almost lost the game, and won cuz Randy missed another FG.... I didn't get to watch the game, but im not surprised by either scenario...
But in this case I wouldn't fault them for not doing a postgame at 10-12 on the night of Christmas Eve.
I get what your saying and respect that. But I want the cowgirls for the simple fact that it would make a super bowl win that much more sweeter in my opinion...especially at home. Considering any Houston football franchise has been living in the cowgirls shadow for so long.
Well I have more against Steelers then the Raiders. I remember us losing to the Raiders badly once in the playoffs many years ago. But we lost out on two super bowls because of the Steelers. The Renfro touchdown that was called out of bounds is one of the primary plays that brought about instant replay
hahah wow all these years I thought because 610 are the official Texans station, they did the only pre and post game shows in town. Who does the post game for 790? I like Mike and Seth for the 610 pre game show
Braddock is the main guy. 790 is expanding his airplay next year. Greg Koch and Ross Villareal are there too. I don't care much for Meltzer.
This year it's usually been Greg Koch with Michael Connor. It's not uncommon to hear ND Kalu and Sean Jones if it's a viewing party at some place with hot wings; rarely Lance Zierlein will call in.
lol I love going on Colts and Titans forums and reading the salty comments from their fans. So many posts about how the Texans are garbage, them being flabbergasted that they lost the division to us, and how they will be looking forward to us getting stomped in the 1st round.
