Putin is now merely a "politician".

I don't know if this **** is getting funnier or sadder by the minute.

Are you trying to argue that he's not a politician? While we're at it, do you want to argue that Pop isn't a basketball coach?

So were back to square one. It is about embarrassing and exposing the DNC's unethical and corruption behavior.

What is it with liberals and their hatred towards people (whistle-blowers) who expose corruption? I dont care who exposes corruption, I am happy when its exposed. As I said, let the Russians or script kiddies with email phishes expose the RNC.... i have no problem with it. Why are you defending the DNC's unethical behavior so vehemently?

I think the better analogy here would be that Jerry Jones is not a football coach.

When did I ever defended the DNC. In fact, I have stated they are stupid and corrupted way before the general election. I have reminded you of this same thing when I pointed out your same statement against another poster here was wrong, who was also critical of the DNC. Go search my name and DNC and you will see what I have said about them.

You just fail to see other people POV. When it concern Russian trying sway the election, it's exactly that. You just refuses to understand that and is stuck to your story about DNC, Clinton and whatever else. It's your failure to have an open mind and think beyond what your bias blinded liberal-hated mind is telling you.

    Funny true story ...

Donald Trump spent the last 8 years being a tremendous sore loser, all ass bent about Obama. But now being a sore loser about Trump being President is verboten.

    Suck it up, buttercup.

In some ways you are right, he was VERY upset that his candidate, Hillary Clinton, lost to Obama. He probably doesn't run otherwise. So the question is, are those on the left going to follow in Trump's footsteps and be butt hurt sore losers for 8 years due to their candidate, Hillary Clinton, being a loser yet again? Are they going to pretend to be Republicans now?

The Dems could just follow the Repub Obama playbook and attempt to burn it all down. Claim Trump is illegitimate for reason or other. Call Trump Putin's Puppet. Obstruct all government activities and blame Trump and his fascist racist Repubs.

Or the Dems could follow the Repub Clinton playbook and litigate all of Trump past dalliances. Drag Trump through discovery on each p***y he ever grabbed. The Dems could find every contractor that Trump ever stiffed and have them file suit as well. The Dems should have no problem keeping Trump fully occupied and miserable with law suits as long as he is President.

Or the Dems could do both.

In short, yes, you are going to follow in Trump's footsteps. It's too bad you aren't better than that.

    Merry Christmas.

Another attack vector the Dems have on Trump is his conflict of interests. Unfortunately this avenue would lead to Trump resigning and a Pence presidency, which would be an unmitigated disaster.

I would be glad to, since I have a vivid memory of when it occurred. It was in October of 1962. Jack Kennedy was President and Nikita Khrushchev was the leader of the Soviet Union. On October 15th, our spy planes discovered that the Soviets were constructing medium range nuclear missile bases in Cuba. Kennedy had a secret emergency meeting of all his top advisors to discuss how to respond. The missile sites were nearing completion and would have been able to strike numerous American cities with little warning, including Washington, New York, and Houston, not to mention many of our most important military bases.

An air strike to take them out was seriously considered, but Kennedy wanted to try to get them removed without resorting to an attack, which could easily devolve into war between the USSR and the United States. Nuclear war. So Kennedy decided to try a "quarantine" or blockade of Cuba by the Navy, with an ultimatum to remove the missiles already there, but not yet installed, and the dismantling of the bases. On the night of the 22nd, Kennedy went on national television, on every network, to address the nation. I saw that speech sitting with my parents in their den. The quarantine was announced in the gravest possible way and it was incredibly frightening. For 6 days we were on the brink of war. The following is from History.com:

On October 23, the quarantine of Cuba began, but Kennedy decided to give Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev more time to consider the U.S. action by pulling the quarantine line back 500 miles. By October 24, Soviet ships en route to Cuba capable of carrying military cargoes appeared to have slowed down, altered, or reversed their course as they approached the quarantine, with the exception of one ship—the tanker Bucharest. At the request of more than 40 nonaligned nations, U.N. Secretary-General U Thant sent private appeals to Kennedy and Khrushchev, urging that their governments “refrain from any action that may aggravate the situation and bring with it the risk of war.” At the direction of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. military forces went to DEFCON 2, the highest military alert ever reached in the postwar era, as military commanders prepared for full-scale war with the Soviet Union.

We moved hundreds of fighters and bombers to easy striking range of Cuba, and a huge number of warships. While the world held its breath for those 6 days, we prepared for war. The Navy moved to block Soviet ships, some carrying what appeared to be missiles covered on their decks. Then Khrushchev blinked. We secretly gave him something to tell the Politburo he had accomplished, agreeing to remove obsolete nuclear missiles from Turkey after a period of several months.

I'm appalled at the ignorance on display by some of the members here, their incredible lack of knowledge about arguably the worst crisis of the Cold War era, their easy way of spouting nonsense that a middle school kid should know from a history class. Don't believe any of this? Look it up. It is all true. We were on the brink of war. As close as you can get without launching a nuclear holocaust. I'm glad I finally took a look at this thread. Is our educational system truly as bad as this? I think not. You should all be ashamed.

Trump being a huge Putin fan, makes it easier.

Those two really found each other.

First, that happened with the Soviet Union, not Russia.

Second, the placement of Jupiter rockets in Turkey provoked the Russian response in Cuba. Here we are two decades after the fall of the Soviet Union and we have people acting as though two decades of unchecked NATO and EU expansion is not going provoke the Russians.

There is an old saying that those who do not understand history are bound to repeat it. Obama was bound to this rule, apparently.

You clearly know little about the history of the USSR. Russia was the Soviet Union. Russia controlled the Soviet Union. The puppet states of Russia's "USSR" that made up the Soviet Union were, in reality and despite the cute name, the empire of Russia. If you don't know that, if you dispute that, you are truly an individual who needs to go back to school. Everything I said was and is true.

Sorry I forgot to respond to your post, it was released declassified documents from the CIA that paint a scary picture about just how close we were. Given your grade school response to Deckard, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same however.
