this team just needs a kizer or watson, hell even a hundley... the defense is good, o-line looks decent. the qb play is terrible. bob mcnair needs to man up like jerry jones and put his biases to the side
After the two consecutive sacks on Savage, we've run on 1st and 2nd down every time except once. The one time we threw on first down, we got got 7 yards and converted on the next play. Every other time we ended up punting. Offense is too predictable right now. I think OB saw those two sacks and went ultra conservative again.
This is an awful closing act after a great day of football. Good thing the Bengals sat AJ Green at the last minute or it could be 17-0 instead of 3-0.
That's fine expect OB has been a bad play caller his entire 3 years here. And we are a top rushing team which is true but we're playing without our top 1000 yard rusher. The gameplan suck....The pass protection is fine savage is holding onto the ball to long, OB even agrees as he just said so at the half. 7 pass attempts when your avg what 2 yards a run is just plain stupid. The teams has 2 first downs the defense has been on the field way to much. You can't lean on the D that much, it's stupid football.
O'Brien : We need to regroup. Run the ball up the middle a little bit more and let our defense get most of the workload. O'Brien: huh? We can win the division? Wow.
