Anyone been keeping up with the blazers at all? I've watched a few close games and Lillard is losing his mind. Dude is letting everything get to his head. His pissed about not getting recognition, pissed about no all star games, Steve Kerr said he would be mvp in the beginning of the year and add all of those up and now he is actually hurting his team by trying way too much! Stotts let's him do whatever he wants and all he does is continue to heave shots and what ticks me off especially is how he feels no matter the situation he MUST take the shots under 2 minutes. We get it its your team but those close games I've seen he had open men but ignored them...
Was about to say this. I think the Knicks have the right idea but make really dumb decisions when it comes to player movement and coaching. Jeff Hornacek is not my idea of the coach that'll make the Knicks respectful again, but who knows. Hopefully they'll turn it around. They're actually decent this season. If Rose can stay healthy and Melo can stay consistent the Knicks will be pretty good. Prozingus is the real deal What's really sad is hearing how die hard Knick fans are regardless of how bad they've been for the last 10-15 years. Ask any Knick fan about them and they'll say "we're gonna win it this year baby!!!" lol. Um, let's just focus on getting to the postseason
Yeah, man! They've basically been bad since the decline of Patrick Ewing. And they still have some of the most loyal fans anywhere. It's brutal. Imagine if the Rockets had sucked every year since Hakeem left? It's just crazy! I think the only times they've really even had fleeting hope were like when they added Melo to Stoudemire - but the results were FAR worse than the T-Mac/Yao era. I'm not sure they've even had a team that would make the playoffs in the West since the days of Ewing. It's nuts.
Knicks fans are great and I truly feel sorry for them, but the team can't contend until they move on from dead wood like Melo and D-Rose, build around Porzingis and get a legit coach. They are probably doomed as long as Dolan owns the team.
What is this? I've spent years watching Rockets lose their star to injury or being medicore with signs of greatness with nothing to show. And you want Clutchfans to feel bad for other teams............ Spoiler
Dead Wood? Melo & Rose are still VERY good players and able to lead. Let's not let the media shape out opinion. The same media that said Harden wasn't a superstar when he got here
The media has nothing to do with it. Rose used to be one of my favorite players in the league. But since his injury, he's turned into an entitled diva whose best days are clearly in the rear view. Melo is the living definition of a selfish diva and at 32 it's downhill for him. This group clearly won't get it done unless just making the playoffs is the standard. Hopefully PJ gets the ball rolling this summer by walking away. He's so guilty of grand theft it's scandalous. Need a new man in charge that isn't afraid of breaking some eggshells.
This. But it's amazing that Dolan isn't even the worst owner in the NBA. I feel sorry for the Kings fans. They are one of the best fans but had to suffer: (1) being cheated out of the championship in 2002, (2) being ruined by the Maloofs, (3) getting stuck with a headcase as their franchise player, and (4) getting another bad owner.
Totally agree! Also the Pels. AD is just being wasted. Seems like they're always injured, even after we take 2 of their biggest injury problems off their hands!
Horrible assessment. Rose has played great this year. Melo is Melo. Have you watched any games this year? The Knicks are solid. I think too many fans judge players off the image the media gives them. I've watched the Knicks, and Melo nor Rose is what's holding them back. Both players can still play at a very high level
I feel bad for the Clippers. They just need to move to Seattle since L.A. will always be all about the Lakers. I feel really bad for the Blazers aka Jail Blazers... Oden... Brandon Roy.. Sam Bowie... sheesh.. Le Marcus Aldridge got sick of it up there too. I'm definitely glad we have Les over Dolan. Dolan is the kind of boss you'd work for because he has the kind of money no one else is going to offer but you realize you just signed your soul to the devil for a little more money and to live in a city that smells like one giant over priced garbage dump. I do feel bad for Rockets fans though. We traded our core youth for Barkley who was pretty much done. Picked up Pippen who was just a washed up role player by then. His contract also handicapped us so much that the only role players were rookies or scraps. The McGrady and Yao failed injury experiment should still be fresh on everyone's mind. We also got vetoed...I'm sorry we got "Sterned" on a trade that would have gotten us Gasol. Not like that trade really matters now but it definitely was embarassing to be "Sterned". Last but not least... We spent countless offseasons trying to pick up Dwight Howard to only get a washed up overgrown baby. Sucks pretty hard when the owner only wants us shopping in the discount bin.
How about Denver? LOL They had Rudy Gobert!!!! The Denver Nuggets traded 27th pick Rudy Gobert to the Utah Jazz in exchange for the 46th pick, Erick Green, and cash.[2]
