[Calm Down] Rockets will beat the Spurs in the Playoffs

    Rockets are still a young team on the upswing. By end of season this team will be firing on all cylinders. We've already shown a gigantic improvement in defense since game 1 of the year. Spurs are pretty much what they are. Can't rely on old geezers like Manu and Parker to bail them out anymore. Even Aldridge is on the decline.

    This is the best Rockets team in a long time. That 2014/15 team was sort of fools gold. Their point differential was not good for a 56 win team. Whenever they played elite teams you can tell that they were outclassed and out executed, oh, and more importantly, out coached.

    This year the Rockets have faced the Warriors and won, and have been equal to the Spurs in our 3 games more or less. If there's a team in the West I fear the most it's actually the Jazz. Gobert is a monster and can take away our layups even from Harden. Spurs rim protection is terrible and Gasol is going to get worked on the pick and roll.

    The Spurs shot 52% from 3 (12-23) and the Rockets shot 16% (6-38) and we almost won.

    Harden Gorden Ryno a combined 3-27 from 3(!) 4 careless turnovers at end, missing starting center, and still coulda won the game with last shot. If Rockets even shoot average they win going away.

    We are better than the Spurs..period. We would beat them in a 7 game series today with both teams being fully healthy. By the end of the season, we would beat them 4-2 in a 7 game series. We are only 1 player away from being the best team in the West. I just don't know who that player is and if Morey can get him without messing up the teams chemistry.

    Spurs don't look scary at all. Their bigs couldn't really get it going and we defended them very well. We got their numbers this year imo even though we lost twice to them.

    Someone on this board a while ago asked what happens when we don't hit our 3s. Well, they got their answer. Does it get any worse than this from the arc? I certainly hope not and I certainly doubt it. Gordon hits that one late and this is a different game.

    The Spurs are a great team still. One more game left, on their home floor. That will be a good test of if the Rockets are better overall. More importantly, it will show us how mentally prepared this young team is.

    I cannot believe that Rockets are BETTER than the Spurs right now. I don't feel bad about this loss at all.

    true but the Rox just needed 1 more 3 pointer and/or Capela and that long time system and discipline would've headed back to San Antonio with an L..7 for 38 from 3 point land prolly won't happen again against the spurs let alone Spurs shooting over 50% from 3 which was another anamoly
