PNR is non existent without Capela. That's a huge part of our offense

Exactly , the best plan is to stay the course . LA is a noted 4th quarter choker

Harrell is more than capable of Capela's pick and n roll game. Why isn't he doing it?

I'd love to see Dekker start getting more minutes and Anderson less.

Been trying to figure this out. We must run PNR in order to help the offense.

He doesn't have as good of a chemistry with James . Hopefully that comes in time .

Throwing the alley oop is more than just getting up and throwing it down . You've got to be in the right position to create an angle for the pass. James is a wizard no doubt , but Harrell has got to perfect how to roll before beard can deliver those sweet oops

A few things could be tightened up, but great effort, impressive defense from the Rockets. We've missed an uncharacteristic number of open shots, unfortunately the Spurs will cover those looks up so we will have to get more creative. I was expecting a better performance from Nene, but I think it's more about Harden figuring out HOW to feed Nene more than anything. Harden is almost automatically looking to lob it and then realizing it's not Capela.

Considering we're playing the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league (world?), without our starting C, I'm content with the 1st half, optimistic about the 2nd.

Both have been fantastic . Great effort and solid of defense . Dekker has been slumping on the shot ... That's not unusual for essentially a rookie . Hopefully he can bust out of it .

Harrell rolls faster than Capela and doesn't look at James when he's rolling. Capela makes it super easy - rolls at a steady pace, holds his hands open and makes eye contact with James.

This is why I insist that Noel can't simply do what Capela does on offense. PnR is a skill, Capela is great at it.

I feel Spurs are baiting us to play more drive and kick (and less pick and roll) by switching the big men on to Harden.

The problem is that their length has kept Harden's 3 pointer in check, they have defended the paint well (really miss the Capela lobs) without fouling and we are really cold for three so that stagnated our offense.
