i have zero confidence in nene being able to pick up the slack. his rebounding and defense have been largely non-existent the past few weeks

 

45 minutes vs SAS this year
Nene has 5 rebounds

20 minutes last year = 3 rebounds

 

Sauces: Morey himself is rumored to be suiting up tonight to help out

 

what do you think of just playing wiltjer and trading them 2's for 3's

 

Even with Capela gone, I don't expect alot of Ryno at the 5 this game simply because of LMA, even though he doesn't channel his inner Blazer.

 

In the Micheal Lewis book, he did say he was the Laimbeer cheating, bruiser type player. I guess he would be good for b****-slapping Gasol once for us.

Why are people so hard on Ryno's defense. He hold Anthony Davis - the leagues top scoring PF/Player- to 23 points which is about 8 below his average. Can't be that bad on D.

 

Davis also left that game early with an injury, no?

Davis got hurt and plus this is not New Orleans, it's the Spurs. I am saying we will be too small to guard LMA and Gasol at the same time. Anderson would be able to guard or check one of those guys, not 2. Plus Ariza on LMA? Please.

 

Honestly no player in the nba can guard 2 players at once lol. All im saying is that people keep underrating andersons defense although he is pretty much average on defense since he shows a lot of effort. Btw i think this is one reason why he isn't gunning that well on the offensive end since he understands his role, plays defense and pulls the opposing PF out of the paint. People say he's a bust for 18/year and i think he is pretty decent considering some other contracts made this summer.

 

I get it. I'm not underrating him at all, in some cases he almost, almost untouchable with how he spaces the floor to help the team. Gonna be tough the fill the C minutes, especially knowing Nene can't go past a certain minute amount or he will turn into disminished goods.
