are you stupid or something? Capela is a net positive player overall, when did I say he's horrible? I just said he's a bit overrated in terms of rim protection, and we need better production - especially on defense - from our Center position. Capela is still better than Nene and Trez, so missing him will definitely hurt us, but that doesn't mean Capela is this incredible player either.

Actually, Capela is a net negative player statistically. Harrell, Nene, Dekker are all ahead of him.

Of course this means nothing because Capela is oozing with potential and will only get better, but the Rockets do not live and die with Capela.

Then we should be fine without him. Again, my statement was conditional. That's why I used IF. Google it if you don't know what it means.

You should relax and cool off with the hostility. Your statement was based off your sentiments and not on what the stats say so I'm just telling you what it says. No need to get defensive.

Rockets may actually be fine with Harrell in the short term. [IMG]

no hostility here, but if you don't get conditional statements, that's on you, not me.

this is the best case scenario, but to be fair, the level of competition faced by Capela and Harrell is vastly different, at least up to this point.

    Is Nerlens Noel still available?

You said the Rockets may drop to 8th seed and have to trade Ariza. Others told you to relax because Capela's impact is good but limited. You then insist that it's a "what if" scenario, and others show you stats on why it's unlikely. Now you are upset.

Guess what, the players may all go on strike tomorrow and refuse to play again so we may have to think about trading the whole roster "if" it happens.

No, never said anything about 8th. Also it was Ariza or Dekker, which you conveniently left out, and to which I didn't even fully agree. It was just one of those possible moves, never suggested that I agreed with it.

Capela is still a somewhat valuable player (has positive DRPM and Net Rating) and missing him will hurt us, but to what extent? nobody knows, but if things get serious, Morey should do something about it. That's all I said, stop twisting my words to fit your agenda.

I can see Pringles playing more small ball with Anderson at center anf Ariza at PF. It worked well last game....let's see

To put this into perspective, Capela plays with the starters and Trez players with our dominant bench which plays at a much more frenetic pace, hence his inflated stats.

Look on the bright side guys, at least Trez now gets a crash course on how to play good or at least acceptable team D due to having to go against better players with more minutes. He seems like the type to succeed in trial by fire situations.

I'm more worried about Nene than I am about Harrell.

I wonder if Morey offered DMo 9m and for just this year, he would take it?

BTW the Fibula is the non-weight bearing bone in the leg, usually you can play when you can tolerate the pain, so maybe 3-5 weeks -ish?

And Bogut is a HORRIBLE choice - he is not a good PnR player, he can pick but he is not a good roller.....

Does Chinu "grandma shot" Onuaku get a call up and some playing time now?

Depends on who is on the floor. Rockets will not be able to use this small lineup against all teams. But Harrell may surprise, could have a Hayes like impact. Until Morey makes another move, that's our best option because Nene's production/efficiency decreases when forced to play big minutes.

Hey I think the Clippers have it worst without Griffin. 3rd seed is still on the table.
I'd like to see some Onuako. He can be as good defensively as Capela.
