I think someone was brainwashing CF brethren with Dmo love declarations this whole time.

Agreed. I think a lot of fans here see DMo has the guy who looks like you'd have beer with. He looks "friendly" to a lot of his fans and they identify with him because of that. None of this is about basketball btw. As a die hard NBA basketball fan I don't care how friendly a player looks, that's a different type of NBA fan right there

In reality Dmo only averaged 6pts last year. He can't rebound and his one on one defense is atrocious. He's also injury prone. I'd rather us give someone else a shot.

    How easily we forget.

    Royce White
    T-Will
KJ Mcdaniels even to an extent.

D-Mo was very productive, when healthy. Some of you make it seem like we're losing our 15th guy, instead of our 2nd string PF.

Its really easy...D-Mo had just been with the team the longest of anyone. BEFORE James Harden. Been a familiar Houston name compared to everyone else here. Nothing more than that.

To add - He had actually had the benefit OF injury and "potential". Full time guys like Lin, Parsons, T Jones played til they disgraced themselves in some ways. Ex: The Portland playoffs series. When D-Mo was called on NO he didnt do great, but didnt disgrace himself either he held steady. Injury actually excused him from getting too much blames, before he could get the PRESSURE and HEAT on him. D-Mo being EXCLUDED gives him the "what if". Kinda like the backup quarterback in football basically, the TJ Yates whos not any good but held steady just enough in place of the starter everyone hated

Yeah, because he is in the process of talking to the league about his options, i.e. He may sue, and wants to go to Brooklyn.

Actually, DMo won many fans' heart not just because he seemed like a cool guy. He worked hard, played hard and his playing style is very unselfish. Fans usually like that kind of role players. A lot of fans are disappointed in how he has been acting through RFA and was hoping that it's all BJ's fault and DMo would eventually come to his senses.

Had so much promise..a number of factors (injuries/coaching/playing time etc.) really hurt his development. Could have been a good player for us right now with the right luck

He was slightly productive for half a season. Last year he averaged 6pts. He's easily replaceable and we might be better without him
