I said yes back then. I'd keep my vote the same still.

No, he's injury prone (without playing much) and when healthy he can be good but not great. Back to square one because we don't have a franchise qb on the roster.

Pancakes had him starting before the brock move, radio experts laughed and recorded promos on the hot cake take by pancakes. Who is eating good now? Stay puft, pancakes!

Upgrade over Brock, but still draft a QB.

Sucks we're depending on BoB and Rick for talent evaluation, but they're not going anywhere.

I'd still say draft a qb but I don't trust the front office ability to scout qb's after this Brock blunder.

We have to go into next year with the intention of drafting a QB early. Then you tell all 3 of them that it's an open competition for the job. That's the only way to handle this properly. Nobody deserves to have the job just handed to them without proving it first.

It's hard to even know, because he has only played 3 games in 3 years. Who knows how good or not he could get over time. I still think drafting a QB would be a wise choice, but I don't doubt for a minute Savage will be better than Brock by game 14 next year if he is our starter. Injuries could be a problem, but maybe his bad luck on getting hurt is gone. Every player on our team seems to get injured a lot, and some of our best players fall into that category. A durable quarterback who doesn't turn the ball over is a must for us though. He hit Hopkins with tight coverage a few times, which is a positive sign. I think our defense should be better next year, as well as our offensive line, unless we get injury plagued again, so who knows what could be with Savage.

I said no then, I still say no, but he played well yesterday so if he keeps it up, perhaps at some point I will. The only thing that bothers me is that even while he played well, he easily could have had 3 interceptions which would have changed everything. Hopefully he keeps playing well and doesn't suffer any setbacks.

He's had enough time to study up the game... to know what works/what doesn't on paper... to know this system front/back/in/out...to see 4 other QB's fail here...

None of that makes a difference once he's actually on the field... but what he showed me yesterday, by coming into a game unphased with little preparation, and actually throwing a TON effectively... speaks volumes.

You keep stressing Savage's dropped INTs, yet never stressed Brock's 12 games of them.

    Very comical. Post more

You posted about dropped interceptions all the time.....now you think it's something to be ignored? I know pimping out narratives is kind of what you do instead of legitimate analysis, but....I dunno try it out for a change. Who knows, you might like it and become a more valuable poster.

Nothing at all. Even the guys who are considered the best of the class are kind of terrible.

Was anyone so excited about Wilson or Prescott?

I'm not excited about our evaluators.

I'm never biased. You are beneath me. click here

You never mentioned dropped INTs for Brock unless you were blaming someone else.

I have faith he's better than Brock. Just manage the game and let's see how far the defense will take them. Romeo having a top 5 defense with Watt out to go along with other injuries is incredible.
