The smartest player on the team should not be visibly showing up a young superstar teammate for the fans to see and us to make videos of. Thibs had it under control, watch him during the play. No reason to double team Towns

Rubio just couldn't contain himself in another frustrated loss where he couldn't help, so had to point fingers and tell others what they did wrong

Stop trying to lead and learn to shoot, Ricky, and what's up with your horrible layups

Rubio has always been garbage. You will never have a winning team when he's playing any significant minutes. You can't play 4 on 5 in the NBA and expect any lasting success.

Seeing Towns and The Brow so close together made me respect Towns a LOT more than I did. That young man can play. I actually think he'll be better than Brow eventually. The reason I say that is because Towns' game translates to almost any offense and he'd look good next to any player in the NBA. AD seems like he is less flexible and might not work out with every pairing. Great players, but one just looks like he's sneaky with the ways he scores and hits the boards.

Players like him and rondo don't have a real place in today's NBA.

Positionless basketball was a career killer for guy like them who are floor generals who can't shoot at all.

20 year ago RR would be a boarderline allstar level player but now, he's a backup PG for some teams.

I say some teams because I don't think Houston, GS or the Cavs would even want him as a backup.

In today's NBA more than ever you have to be able to shoot the ball at least respectably, unless your a center.

Some posters here not going to say names smh need to accept that the rockets are better off now and moving forward having the ball in hardens hands as the main playmaker.... and if your main reason why is TOs and you cite RR as a player who could help get this team over the top?!?!? Well I just don't think you realize were and how the game is headed and being played.

Things are changing in the NBA and teams like GS Houston and the Cavs are ahead of the curve.....Surprise Surprise those three teams have the 4 best players in the NBA.

Be happy rockets fans the best one might be wearing our jersey. No reason to take the ball out of his hands.

Being smart aint do jack **** if you cant score when left wide open.

KaT contributed 45 pts and was the sole reason the Wolves were leading in the first place, before being pissed at him Rubio should be pissed at himself for all the blown shots he made the entire game.

Not really taking shots at Holic but this game just shows how the Rox DONT need another playmaker to win a ring as much as they just need better talent. Playmaking aint gonna do jackshit when the ball isnt going in the hoop

So basically you want these players to team up with Harden in order for us to win a champ?

    1. Kevin Durant
    2. Kawhi Leonard
    3. Lebron
    4. Draymond Green

Moret is on the phone now.

Rondo is a CHAMPION and has been known to show up in big games. Not sure how you go from that to not having a place in the league

Rubio is just trash and anybody saying otherwise must be his relative. Can't believe ppl here actually fantasized about giving up Beverly for this damn scrub.

Umm I don't know what Rondo winning a chip almost 9 years ago Matters.

Last time I checked the last 3 teams he has played on have all let him go (Boston, Dallas, sac) he's a ball stopper and doesn't make the team better. Even the bulls don't know what to do with him. They've actually played better with rondo not playing.

Paul pierce won a chip also on that same team and he doesn't have a place in the NBA anymore either.

Rondo is a backup level PG you citing him winning a chip and showing up in big games as a reason why he's better than that is not changing my opinion. He sure didn't show up in his last playoffs series in fact the team paid him to stay home.

Rondo was a champion and had a place in the NBA 10 years ago. Not in today's NBA.

Morey ruined Rondo. Morey started the 3 points shooting madness even when he didn't have 3 points shooters. Now everyone is doing it. And teams aren't going to stop now that the Warriors and Cavs won NBA championship and are great 3 points shooting team.

This is a new NBA, thanks to Morey.

I remember Brandon Jennings trying to stir up some hype by playfully taunting Rubio right before they were drafted. Turns out both of them suck.

To me he's still a good player overall, he's just a bad/terrible scorer, but i think he would do better in another enviroment (like Phoenix). He's just not a good fit in Minnie with KAT, Wiggins and LaVine...all those guys need (and have) the ball in their hands a lot, that forces Rubio to play off ball too much and this is obviously hurting the team, Thibs doesn't help either. They need to trade him as soon as possible if they don't want to lose him for peanuts (assuming it's not already too late).

    lol i wish.

i didn't say the players have to have each skill on my list. i said any player we bring in has to have at least 1 skill on that list. rubio has none of those skills.

Maybe Rubio would be better if he lost 20 or 30 pounds?

45 points ain't gonna do **** if you make such dumb mistakes either. Not saying Rubio is a great player, but KAT did two big mistakes at the end of the regular time & it's not excusable..

Weren't there rumors for years of Morey wanting (pre-injury) Rubio early in his career and offering multiple picks, but Minny rejecting the deal? If so, the Rockets dodged a bullet there.
