    All I know is, this is the first time in a Rockets uniform Harden isn't going into the Playoffs and having the other two perimeter defenders cocking their heads ready to double at the slightest move by Harden.

    This is the first time Harden is going into the Playoffs with a backcourt buddy just as capable of breaking down defenses as he is, plus a coach who will actually draw up plays to get easy buckets.

    It's going to be a hell of a ride if we can stay healthy.

    I worry about tired legs at the end of the season leading to our 3 pt shooting dropping off. Might drive the need for a more traditional offense in a 7 game series. But that won't happen. We'll dance with them that brung us. And it will be fun.

    We haven't reach half a season and they are battlefighting their way through the league. They are still getting better. I'd say they will fare well in the playoffs.

    great stuff, thanks for posting! *adding 'Locked On Rockets' to my podcatcher*

    often repeated dogma, such as the nonsense spouted re MDA's playoff's 'weakness', can easily be dismissed with a little bit of rational thinking.

    Come playoff time you need at least someone on the roster that can score down low. Not talking about PnR alley oops but a guy that can score down low for a few minutes or when the 3 isn't hitting.

    There's nothing wrong with "live by; die by" in regards to shooting 3s but it would better serve our team to have someone that can score within the 3 point arc.

    Lately I've been looking at the Rockets rank in points per quarter, and I'm wondering if that 4th quarter drop off is cause for alarm. I don't think it's simply a matter of letting off the gas late because we have big leads. Could it be the effect of tired legs on a team that relies so heavily on threes?

    Q1: 1st
    Q2: 6th
    Q3: 4th
    Q4: 19th

    1 and done sounds right. They should win a series, and they should lose to GS/LAC/SA after.
