Trump easily got more media time than Hillary. What Trump said in his rallies drove both how the media covered him and Hillary.

The media covered Trump more because of ... get this ... ratings. People were tuning in hear the next bat **** crazy thing he said or tweeted. And the media obliged. The media showed that they were more driven by the profit motif than the ideology motif.

And I don't think talking about Hitler's rise to power is synonymous with the Holocaust. I compare him to Hitler not because of the Holocaust, but because his rise to power is most akin to Hitler's in terms of how he manipulated the media and build a cult of personality.
