Still not sold by these plays hp, he goes after (a very passive) Wiggins thanks to a couple of hard screens by Trevor and after Bjelica who's a 6'10 euro guy :/

He did look better than other games though, but i still think he would benefit by losing some pounds.

Ive watched the end of this game from the 3min remaining mark 3 extra times.

I kept checking CF and refreshing this sports app all thru last night while at work, I had faith we would still win as long as we could push for OT and we did!

Funny enough this was the one game this season I wasn't home or able to record (forgot to), luckily when I called my wife to record it she got the good parts (last 2mins of 4th qtr and post game live for OT).

Game-winner 3 by Gordon with 45 seconds left in OT. That's not even a play. They just leave Gordon wide open.

 

Don't look at who he gets by...he can get by anyone. He has to make it all the way to the hole. That's the point of saying Harden isn't slower....and to show when he can get through the support defense, too.

That's the point of what happened after 2015. The defenses last year were cheating behind the primary defender. Harden wasn't slower, he just saw the defense behind the primary defender.

Harden's weight is the reason he can take so much impact and still manage to hit his shot after contact or stay on the floor and stay healthy. He loses weight they'll drag him around like a rag doll.

 

yea but if he didn't have his fro, i don't think he would have gotten hit. I don't know the rules regarding having a big fro and if someone hits the fro if it's a foul, doesn't seem fair. Anyone remember someone fouling moochie on his fro?

That was an incredible game and glad to see it in person. Turnout was surprising better than I expected and the arena was probably 75% full. After the game I was talking to guy from Austin and this was the first NBA game he's seen in person. Pretty amazing as a Rox fan to see a comeback like this for your first NBA game.

I really feel though for Minnesota fans. We Houston fans often expect the worst but Minnesota fans rival us in that. With 2 minutes to go and the Twolves looking like they were in control the crowd still wasn't completely into it and could hear many including the guys I was with uneasy. Halfway through OT with the Rox making a run to take a 5 pt lead there was already a lot heading to the exits.

Great game and even my buddies who were rooting for the Twolves still thought it was worth it to brave the cold to see it.

 

Regardless of the outcome, the season series will be 2-1. Not sure if you can conclude anything from that especially this early in the season. If the 10 game win streak does not convince anybody that we are a force to reckon with, nothing will.

 

Harden isn't the guy who's the fastest on the court, he has herky jerky movements to get his defender off balance and take advantage of it. harden has been durable throughout his career and it's because all the cushion he has to help him take the hits. if he started looking like tractor taylor or big country then yea.

 

unbelievable checking the score on my espn app. not even geting a close game warning then getting the notifcation it was going to overtime lol

 

Apparently the last 2 minutes report states all calls were correct, but there plenty of (non) calls that were serious head scratchers for both sides throughout most of the game.
