I'd sue if I were Samsung.

 

Did he, or the video, specifically say it was a Samsung? If not, and Samsung tries to sue, the joke's on them for making their brand look even worse.

 

Their brand is top notch. They had a severe manufacturing defect on one line. They are going as far as bricking the phones to those who refuse to return them.

Apple on the otherhand, wants to charge the consumer to fix their defects.

Name a company out there who has gone this far to protect the consumer?

 

I'm not saying their brand is bad or anything, and I despise Apple.

I'm just pointing out the fact that if he never mentioned the Samsung me, which to me, it appears he didn't, then Samsung would basically be making themselves look bad by taking him to court.

 

Has any other company had an exploding phone? Samsung should be doing that for their customers, on safety alone. Let's not give them too much credit for doing the right thing.

 

Has any other company had deadly bacteria in their products and ignored it for months, all while killing people?

 

Kudos to Samsung for no longer selling their exploding phone to the public.

 

Pretty sure Apple would've used the exploding phone as a feature in another God awful holiday commercial.

To maybe put it a better way:

The video doesn't say it's a Samsung. If Samsung were to sue, it would be like them saying "Hey everybody, a cell phone explodes in the video and in case you forgot, we made a cell that also explodes. So the cell phone that kills or severely injures the guy in the video was obviously a Samsung, the phone that we make."

That's just bad PR. Yeah, the video was bad for Samsung because people assumed it was their phone. But Samsung acknowledging that they think it was supposed to be their phone is just as bad, if not worse.

 

So, what's your point? If It's from Apple, it will change our lives and the world. For the better.

I had an iPhone melt once. Apple had me speak to a few lawyers or something to see if I was injured then sent me a new phone.

They didn't make me pay for anything.
