Gosh, how many years would you give him for Gordon, Anderson, Capela, Dekker, Nene, and Harrell? 100 year extension? Korver would be a great fit in D'Antoni's offense but you're just now giving him the extension for a backup 3? He changed the coach and surrounded Harden with shooters and drivers and dunkers to make him the best he's ever been and the team's already one of the hottest in the league. But Brewer for Korver gets the 10 year extension? I know you're just enthusiastic at the prospect and I would be too. I've always wanted Korver on the Rockets. He's as pure a shooter as they come. I agree it would be great to have him, just think it's funny you'd give him the extension for a backup 3 after he took the team from its nadir to being a contender in one offseason.
He gets rid of Brewer straight up for a better player then Im be happy. Honestly he has a mixed record in drafting and picking players. He seems to pick good players but his constant flipping them for better prospects is frustrating. Not letting players grow in a system is frustrating.

Tyson Chandler for Brewer KJ Rights to Llull Harrell I'd really hate to trade a Montrez but we get a guy who knows how to run the PnR, protects rim, and rebounds well.
We could probably do that without Trez. PHX would like to shed his salary. He was brought in to pair with LMA so I'm sure they would happy to find a team to take him with his contract while getting something back in KJ and Llulls rights. But I've been aboard this train since the beginning of the year!
We would lose some depth though on the wing. Ideally I'd prefer to have someone else other than Dekker who can come in for Ryno or Ariza.
That's where Morey has to steal PJ Tucker some how! But yeah one injury to Ariza or Sam and we would be in trouble.
Discount? He's been in decline for years. His deal is typical for a vet backup big, it's market value.
I absolutely want Tyson Chandler. If we are serious about winning it this year he is a perfect fit. Nene should be end of bench insurance big and we shouldn't have to rely on montrezl in the playoffs. Our weakest spot is interior defense, capela has been great but he could use some help and some tutoring from one of the best. 48 minutes of capela and Tyson would be fantastic towards our continued defensive prowess. His contract isn't considered an albatross anymore under the new CBA. Only 2 more years at about fair market value for a quality defensive center. He should also stay relevantly productive until 36 when his contract expires. But I believe he would help shore up our defense this year putting us closer to gsw, as well as seriously helping capela to continue improving. I think your proposal is fair although I think we would could do it without harrel and add a 2nd and swap llull(no value bcus he's never coming) for gentile We wouldn't be committing much future salary then we already are with brewer and kj. Tyson has a ts% of .697 (insane) He is avg 12rpg in 28mpg (elite) Shooting .757% 0-3ft (capela is .703%) He's still a defensive master I think he is a player that could get us to the next level, and fit greatly in our locker room.
I'm wondering if the reason we're getting an uptick in random trade threads is because this thread isn't stickied? correct me if I'm wrong but I think it used to be stickied given the old format. Obligatory random trade idea: once DMo signs with another team, let's trade for him. pretty good one, huh? although probably deserves its own thread.
Great points all across. It'd be good if we could get Tucker as well. He's a good defender, gritty, has a decent perimeter game, a good rebounder to boot.
It was stickied but isn't now which is why we have a bunch of random threads about acquire a player. Brb gotta start one on Tyson Chandler
