This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

And this is why I can't take you seriously, you don't even seem to know that the Texans can opt out after 2 years. It was almost better in here when it was a ghost town.

Agree. Against bad defenses and with protection, Brock still is bad to mediocre. Brock didn't face much pressure against the Colts very BAD defense, and he still didn't do much. Yes Texans went run heavy and it worked, and it was a road game. But its also a sign of non-trust in Brock. The Texans offense played as well as it could outside of Brock, just to score at league average.

Still ugly or not, Brock has beaten them 2 times. I feel pretty good coming off that BIG ROAD win. I don't expect Brock to get better THIS year. But he can't get worse, its what we gotta go with NOW

Then why talk it up as a 72 million dollar contract when you know that they can get out of it for much cheaper if he doesn't work out? I mean, I want you to have an intelligent opinion, but you seem to be one of those "everything is Osweiler's fault" incredibly lazy analysis types. It just kills any credibility you might have and forces you to say laughably ridiculous things like "the offensive line has been good enough" just to defend your lazy analysis.

Does Osweiler need to play better next season in order to stay on the team? Sure, but going over the top about his performance just makes people think you don't know what you are talking about. We don't need talk radio caliber banter in here.

    I've been consistent.

If Brock plays well, I give him props.

If he plays like trash, I **** on him.

It just so happens he's played like trash more often then not.

Same goes for any player or management.

I'm not the one making up every excuse in the book as to why he's one of the worst qb's in the NFL.

Dude is not good and not worth moving forward with.

He'll be **** next year and the year after that and as long as he's a starter.

I actually HOPE he proves me wrong.

I hope he turns into the next tom ****ing Brady but I've seen enough to show that won't happen.

And at the end of the day I will be right and you will still be making excuses as to why it didn't work out

Pointing out problems with the team is not making excuses. You ignoring those problems in order to lazily blame Osweiler for everything is pretty annoying.....but it's pretty popular right now among a certain type of Texans fan. I accept that short sighted and lazy analysis is what you have to offer so I won't engage you in the future about it.

i blame osweiler for not being good at things he has control over like inaccurate passes and poor decisions when he has a good pocket.

But thank you for not engaging with me in the future.

    Don't quote me again.

    @Bobbythegreat

Dak has one of the best O-line the game has seen in years. Pretty much every QB in the league is jealous of that, and i know Romo is super pissed off over these happenings because he's watching whatever legacy he may have had in Dallas get flushed down the toilet while his owner is desperately trying to find some type of way to make him a slot receiver or some other position just to keep him in Dallas.

Brock needs a better O-line, he also needs receivers who understand 2+2=4 and additionally can catch the ball too as an added bonus.

But, as you said Houston fans are disgusting at times but we're hungry for something to happen, especially with our football team and sometimes we let that get the best of us, man.

We're not quite as bad as Philly fans or Saints fans, yet. But we're getting closer and closer with every year.

As small as it may have been, 4th quarter and OT of first Colts game was a flash. First couple drives against Tennessee was a flash.. If by flash you mean for a whole game, maybe not, and that is not acceptable, but he has shown a few. I also thought he looked really good in the Oakland game despite having a laser in his eyes the whole time.

Yep, especially when they blame our star receiver for causing interceptions or judge our 1st round WR a bust because he dropped a pass in preseason.

Truly awful fans do stuff like that

If he was a true rookie, this might be ok. He'd still look like a bust, but there would be some hope. This is a 5th year guy getting paid $72 million (unless he sucks so bad he gets cut and only gets $36m).

Replace the word perfect with better and yes that's what I think.

I think that might be the cause of it all right there, the Texans recent success has them hungry for even greater success and it causes them to be absolutely ridiculous. Even if I can understand it on some level, it's still pretty annoying. It's getting to the point where otherwise reasonable people start saying things similar to outright mindless trolls like Mr. Clutch.....for sure something needs to be done.

Well that's true of any QB.

Brock would go from 2nd worst QB to worst QB, so technically that's better

Just for one game I would like to see if Savage could look better than Brock, with the same receivers and O-Line. I bet he would. We won't know though, unless Brock gets hurt and Bill has no choice but to play him.

Well wait around for about a year and maybe you'll get your dream of Savage starting just like Rams fans finally got their dream of Goff starting.

better brock = still not very good.

    still not worth building around.

at least we can add JJ watt to the list of great players wasting their career with a crap organization like Andre Johnson.
