    Wow - the Rockets don't do this unless forced to by the league, Morey doesn't give up a trade chip with 3 years of team control on the backend for nothing.

    I sure hope the full story comes out, something smells terribly fishy here.

    Wo. Rockets played really nice? Dmo is so damaged, he will never get on another NBA team and isn't worth the trouble? Rockets screwed up?

    Hmmm....latest guess.

    Morey played EXACTLY by the rules - but the rules were not meant to be for a deal like this, ie it should have been match or else......and Morey did not want that, and neither did DMo.....so the league stepped in and went....Nope, can't do that, not the spirit of the CBA - and as a result we lost him for nothing.

    This is so disappointing. That DMO contract was going to be HUGE as a trade chip.

    I'm thinking the league stepped in and had a problem with that renegotiated deal being against the spirit of the CBA.
