Not quotes but some interesting terms: Jeremy Jumper - referring to the act of a 3-pointer jump shot with toe touching the line. Harden Hop - referring to the act of dribbling the ball from behind your back and through your own legs while hopping towards the basket. (yeah, he only did this once last season and it seriously looked like a double but it was still cool). Howard Hammer - referring to the act of catching the ball that's outside the area of the backboard and yet being able to slam it two-handed through the hoop. Parsons Poster - okay not a basketball action - but used for the act of always trying to look good for a poster shot ;-) Asik Attitude - referring to the act of no comments to the press and just focussing on the job at hand. Beverley Brush - referring to the act of swiping the ball off the opposing PG will develop more as we get to see the different characteristics come out of the rest of our players.... ;-)
Excuse the bump (although this is pretty funny) ... but didn't know where else to ask this question: I recall a player quote (in 2015?) mixing metaphors similar to Josh Smith's "Our ceiling is through the roof." Trying to remember for a friend, as we are sharing funny sports quotes....could use some help, fam. Spoiler Ok, I got the "fam" word off my hip todo checklist. Accomplished that at least.
