You know what's crazy? I have not once thought about the coach this year. But for several years I've stressed over McHale's in game moves.

Well he's still letting Brewer play, but you can blame that on the nudes Brewer has of him.

It wasn't just McHale. I was stressing over McHale over various things, especially near the end of his tenure, but there were others too.

I was scratching my head half the time at Rick Adelman's substitution patterns for years.

I was baffled by JVG's reluctance to play young players.

There have been a lot of issues for the various coaches we've had in the past ten years.

It's so odd, but I feel like D'Antoni is just doing things right.

I love the Morey-D'Antoni partnership thus far.

    Who would have thought?

I know this is slightly off topic, but my homer-colored glasses have me thinking we can win more than just COY award. i think we will see the following rockets have top 3 finishes for these respective awards:

    COY: coach pringles
    MVP: harden
    6th man: gordon
    MIP: capela
    GMOY: morey

hopefully we'll see them win 1 or 2 of these, but as of now i'd bet on top 3 finishes for all of them.

I still remember when we all hated this hiring. Reminds me of when the Texans drafted Watt.

No wonder he hates defense... that third leg must've been a b**** to drag around.

Mike Anthony has been awesome. Just goes to show you how inept that clueless fool McFail was and that is why I never wante dhim here and wanted him fired long time back.

No more sticky balls, or we lost juice or clap clap play harder or I dont know what to do from the head coach

I am amazed at how good the Rockets are under him, but it's been sort of a perfect storm with this team.

-James Harden coming in much better shape than last year and with razor edge focus now that he is the only alpha dog
-The youngsters stepping up...Capela, Dekker and Harrell
    -Shooters...Anderson and Gordon

Add in D'Antoni also coming in with a lot to prove, and all the chips have fallen in place for success. Props to him for recognizing player's strengths and placing them in positions to be successful (such as Ariza with the corner threes).

Now let's see how far they can go!
