So DMo will be back, but will have to earn his way into the rotation; and not all the current players see him as one of them with the current chemistry. From your other post, I'm thinking probably KJ and/or Ennis, but hopefully we move Brewer in a package as well as you mentioned before.
Truth! I couldn't be a GM, because right now I would really be hesitant to make a move to disrupt morale after last season. I'd be really choosey. It'll be interesting to see what Morey does. Thanks again as always @Codman!
@Codman Love my physics lesson. I look at them this way: when wind blows in 95 newtons an hour, on the right is camel ,by the way what is a mass of blacktop when hedgehog is 24? The wind of change is coming! Thanx
So funny how Joel Blank and his buddy on ESPNRadio are saying that Morey treats his players like assets, every GM does, and players do it too. -Bulls GM in the 80's/90's -Mark Cuban after their championship year -Danny Ainge trading away Pierce -Pat Riley with DWade Players also treat teams like assets: -LBJ when he went to MIAMI -KD leaving for GS -LMA leaving to SAS These are a few example of players understanding the business part of basketball and know that they are assets just like teams can be treated like assets as well. Anyone who feels entitiled in professional "anything" has a reality check coming to them because everyone has a price and everyone is replaceable unless your the owner.
I believe January is when teams can sign players to 10-day contracts. So if the Rockets are looking to do a 2-1 trade, they can add another player on a 10 day.
Yeah, the packaged deal gotta be non-rotational players. I doubt Morey would want to disrupt the team chemistry by trading away key rotation players.
Last thing: Again, watch the IMPLOSION. The standings show enough. Sac/ATL/Phil/MIL/PHX Wildcard: Denver Ne is working hard.
Fans support their teams, plain and simple. Players come and go, the team doesn't. I honestly can't remember the last time you have done that on this board. Also, not butt hurt. Disgusted in your penance for whining and brainless hate maybe and incredibly annoyed at the fools criticizing the Rockets for doing nothing wrong in a situation that involves a pouty role player that doesn't move the needle. We are an 18-7 team for christ's sake. How about we talk about how awesome that is instead of D-Mo?
DMo will be on the team, unless he refuses. Then, he won't be paid. He's already not part of the core. Montrezl deserves his minutes already. Same with Clint, as much as he annoys me to the point of asking for more radiation.
So is the league forcing the original match offer sheet on Dmo and BJ? And if DMo is going to be unhappy, not sure I really want him here. Trez is too short to play Center as is Nene. DD
