Let's also clear up some idiocy perpetuated by some posters here in regarding RFA. RFA rarely causes a team not to make an offer for players they really want. Lowry got an offer despite us saying we will match. Ego got an offer from the Suns as well. Players like Asik and even Lin got paid as well through RFA. Players that are actually desirable by teams WILL get offered a contract of their worth. Now what RFA does do is 1) gives the original team some leverage to keep said player if they decide to match and 2) forces opposing teams to figure out what kind of offer they want to give as if they go too low, their offer gets matched. The fact of the matter is this, if teams really wanted D-Mo, he would have gotten an offer during the offseason that he was OK with. This is not a matter of what someone deserves (LOL) or thinks he deserves, but rather how much teams value said player.
Of course there's no new info . I don't even know if Dmo knows what's going on ... A lot of the speculation here has concerned BKN and CBA issues not necessarily a failed physical ..... I just don't see how a failed physical could be strung out this long ... But on the other hand , the only real info we have says that this is about the physical (woj) and Dmo is certainly acting (Twitter) like the rockets failed him on the physical for "dirty reasons" In short no one knows **** .
This could be league, player association coming together to discuss a new CBA deal and conveniently working out the kinks in the Dmo situation as well. He just could not mention it because they are still working on it.
Someone is being held by the balls. "That (dude) isn't one of us. We're good either way" (Not Nene) Also...good riddance a bench warmer and a packaged deal. Not necessarily before Xmas, but January. 2 poor investments. Team morale is crucial after what happened last year. Take that as you may.
Interesting. Cod, anything that implicates the Rockets in any wrongdoing? That second part screams jetting Corey Brewer to me.
This is coming from 2 players hanging out together. Thanks and be patient. It's not RIcky Rubio BTW #FreeBirds
The Rockets followed protocol according to Wass. DMo/BJ played hardball and caved. DMO is still not as happy as he could be. That can disrupt our chemistry. He won't be cut our anything, but don't expect him to log too many minutes right away. You earn your spot. Wrong doing? Phil Jackson.
You've mentioned KJ McDaniels' unhappiness in previous posts. And being in the Dwight clique last season. I can see him out the door somehow. Who else is unhappy? Brewer is a bad investment, and one could argue that he's a bench warmer, but I won't pin my hopes on him going anywhere. 'T'would be nice, though.
Darn it. So this thing will drag out till Jan? Over or under: 20 more new DMo threads popping up before then?
My first thought was Ennis as a bad investment/bench warmer and he always seemed unhappy on the bench.
Codman mixed two pieces of info. I tad of DMo news and a completely separate trade rumor. DMo can't be traded, so no way the juicy trade tidbit is about him. right, @Codman
Yep it's Ryno and Ego more than likely. Ariza, Dekker, Harden and Bev are pro Dmo IMO. I also think KJ is gone, maybe along with Nene/Harrell. I have a strong feeling Brewer will finish the season with the team.
