Wow, you almost got a "LIKE" from me until you said "Don't" think they can keep that up. Stay optimistic my friend.
Bbhollic says we are trying to do a mega trade and dump Brewer for Lebron and Anferny Davis. But don't repeat that it's a secret. Nobody even knows morey is eyeing those 2 players. Most teams in the league are not interested in either player or do not have assets like Brewer and Ennis. Stay tuned
I'm not sure they've played enough games to substantiate that claim. According to my math they are on pace for 54 wins. After two more victories and no losses that number will increase to 59
It would be nice, but more important are progress of this team and playoff record. Hawks won 60 games in the regular season a couple of years ago, and look where they are now.
I know this is bullshit because Bballholic has never proposed a trade that didn't involve acquiring Rubio somehow.
Great stat. On another site I posted 58 wins (+/-2 games). Rockets were with 7 road losses when I broke it down in detail: 9 home losses and 15 roads losses for season. So the Rockets can only lose 8 more road games. Clippers & Thunder each had 9 home wins last reg season. I recently posted foreseeing Houston going 21-7 before facing Spurs (.750 clip). Last night I felt I may have jinxed the Rockets (but I knocked on wood); actually it would've been Matt Moore of CBS sports that would have or will jinx the Rockets if we don't make 21-7, by placing the Rockets #1 on their power ranking poll. I want Houston to be closer to .750 than .650 because you know with basketball.....it's so easy to sprain an ankle and miss two weeks. Again knock on wood. May this team stay healthy and exceed my expectations. Most of the time the team that wins the championship is the team that is most healthy or hits their stride at the right time. May the Rockets do both. Go ROCKETS!!
We're on pace to win 33 at home and 27 on the road. That's 60 wins and that might be enough to get us up to 2nd or even 1st if things break down well in the coming months.
Did better than my expectation. I thought MDA was vastly underrated here, but didn't think the team would do this well this soon. Thought they would take some time to gel and get the system, especially with new starters and role players. But then, MDA's system is exactly how the Rocket wanted (but failed quite a bit - due to isomania, dwight and lack of 3pt shooters) to play for years and so it's not so foreign to them. Still, major credit to the coaching staff and the players.
Two big step backwards from the 60 win season. They were swept by the Cavs that year and on the fringe of playoff picture in the East right now.
