CP3 is the Tmac of PG's.

Great individual player, but isn't a winner.

CP3's style of play is the reason the Clippers haven't won anything with as much talent as they possess.

CP3's career eclipsed TMac's a long time ago. Is Stockton on your list of people who didn't hit their potential as a PG?

Look at that Clippers team. It's so poorly constructed. They have no depth. Blake Griffin has the temperament of a 5 year old. They have to start Luc Mbah a Moute (who admittedly has been pretty good defensively.

Or look at the NOH teams before he was traded. They were garbage.

You can't judge a player based on wins alone.

    That is just ridiculous.

CP3 is a phenomenal player. To say he isn't a winner is stupid and absurd.

I trust Holic more than Zach Lowe. We still need Ricky Rubio, who's currently leading the Wolves to a blistering 6-18 start.

Pop Quiz: Who actually has the higher TS% this year, Corey Brewer or Ricky Rubio?

CP3's playoff wins alone have already eclipsed T-Mac who never sniffed the 2nd round unless he was stuck on the bench.

We would also have signed Seth curry to a mega deal and traded the farm for hezonja if hollic was in charge

    Is it really?

Has he been to the WCF?

I'm just giving him the tmac treatment everyone is so quick to give him.

    Second round fodder every year.

Off rep and play. He absolutely shuts down his man.

    Yes it is.

No, he hasn't. Teams go to the WCF, not players.

You can do whatever you want, but your conclusion that he is not a winner is dumb.

I think it's disrespectful to put him as one of the all time greats when he doesn't have the hardware nor has he gotten close.

GOAT lists are stupid IMO, and mostly irrelevant to who a player is.

Your hardware, does not define you.
What your teammates do, does not define you.

41 points, 34 assists, 2 turnovers, in the last 2 games.

We take two different paths on this subject.

    That's ok.

Which of the four players below would you choose to be your point guard?

    Player A:
    35.3 FG%, 28 3PT%, 3.8 APG, 12.9 PPG

    Player B:
    44 FG%, 40 3PT%, 3.7 APG, 9.4 PPG

    Player C:
    45 FG%, 32 3PT%, 6.3 APG, 14.2 PPG

    Player D:
    36 FG%, 21 3PT%, 6.4 APG, 6.7PPG

REMEMBER, only one of the four has been deemed worthy enough to have the title of "playmaker needed by Houston" from one of our resident insiders.

CP3 has been playing with Blake, DeAndre and J. J. Redick for some time now. If you can't get past 2nd round in the PO as the franchise player with that level of support, at some point the responsibility has to bear on you. Based on CP3's career, it's totally fair to say he's a great regular season player, but ultimately not a winner in the playoffs.

Not really, if you look at each series and analyze they never really lost to inferior teams, or lost due to injury.

    Regular season stats:
    PPG: 18.7 / APG: 9.9 / RPG: 4.4 / FG%: 47 / 3P%: 37 / TS%: .578 / PER: 25.7

    Playoff stats:
    PPG: 21.0 / APG: 9.4 / RPG: 4.7 / FG%: 48 / 3P%: 38 / TS%: .584 / PER: 25.5

He played better in the playoffs. Spending your career in the brutal western conference is going to rob alot of good players of playoff success, just like playing in the era of Jordan is going to rob alot of people of championships. Context matters.

Individual stats don't prove anything. The fact is CP3 has not been a winner in the playoffs even with great supporting cast.
