I haven't seen Contract to Kill yet, but don't disparage that move, after the brilliant review of it to which you linked, and that I'm sure will be a classic. That movie is going to be amazing.

 

They are so desperate to find a way to attack. They can't argue on issues as they know their arguments are disingenuous at best.

It doesn't take someone trying to dig up personal info on someone to figure out a detail like where they live. The Clutchfans interface makes that information very noticeable and upfront as soon as you click their name or avatar picture.

I've clicked on BobbyTheGreat's picture before, not because I was trying to learn about him personally but because his avatar was interesting so I wanted to examine it more closely. I do that now, and there I see "Sugar Land" in the center of my screen.

So, I concur with Sweet Lou. This is a transparently weak tactic to divert attention from the actual discussion of the thread.

 

How often did you try to get someone to admit or deny what school they went to then hope they were bullied in hopes of landing a personal attack.

doxxing is uncool, more so on this local bbs.

 

Here's my advice. These people care more about the fact that you can read an avatar than a CIA report claiming Russian involvement in political affairs. That should speak volumes. Just reading the responses reminds me a lot of my days in high school. It's astoundingly silly. They can't even answer simple questions and they must at some fundamental level know better. Its like they are grasping for anything they can to keep the narrative they've created alive and it is very desperate and sad. Just let it go. It's gotta be immensely painful defending the anti intellectual/rural vote on a basketball forum everyday while the ENTIRE world laughs at us. These people are ok with a creationist heading education and an oil CEO as a right hand man to the POTUS. Make sense? The beautiful thing is this: while the country may be in an uncertain state, you don't have to live in the personal hell these people are in. Isn't that liberating?

 

I can't get too worked up over him making a joke about Bobby being bullied in school due to an arrogant/obnoxious personality, particularly when he did so after Bobby referred to him as a "brainless wonder". My view is that when one engages in throwing out personal insults, they shouldn't complain when they get their feelings hurt as a result of the back and forth.

And I'll echo B-Bob's sentiment that we should return to the actual thread topic.
