Nets also beat the Clippers not too long ago. You never know how a teams are going to play someday ... Brooks wasn't missing anything and the refs had some bad block calls on the Rockets late in the game. The 3pt shooting has been down lately but fortunately clutch defense has saved this win streak.
As much as people getting on Nene, he redeemed himself down the stretch with solid defensive plays. Capela was giving up back to back and 1s against Lopez so we had to stick with Nene. However this just exposes the Rockets even more how thin their front court is. They need another big badly.
People forget that the Nets weren't that bad before Lin got injured. Say what you will about Lin, this guys is a quality NBA player. You sleep on this team, they will beat you, just like they did it to the Clippers. Rockets better get their **** together and don't get complacent.
Actually kind of glad the lowly Nets gave the Rockets problems down the stretch. Hopefully they learn from this not to underestimate crappy teams. But as others have said, good teams find ways to win ugly. Thank god Jeremy airmailed that awful three point attempt.
It's beyond weird. I got in trouble a couple seasons back for stating that the Rockets are officiated like it was the pre-civil rights era.
