D-Mo failed his physical.

A lot of things need to play out. I don't have all the detail. But Boston and Houston are primary players for DeMarcus. Noel is in the mix. Noel wants Boston (hometown). Vlade has been on and off with DeMarcus. There was a lot of talk this summer. And the DeMarcus/Noel merry-go-around affected DMo's situation.

Well I guess we know where DMo stands on the issue. I'm not sure how accurate the whole thing is, but I don't doubt that the Joel Blank segment was parroting things DMo told him.

Blank didn't even touch the garbage that went down this summer with the MDA recruiting visit and thereafter. Nor did he go into what happened over the last 4 seasons when DMo was healthy and ready to play. This thing has a lot more history.

 

The part where Blank and Travis Johnson said Dmo "has his money either by contract or lawsuit" had me like

 

"We're in active discussions with Donatas' representation & the league office."

 

What a mess. I really hope Houston didn't do anything dirty and got caught. They really need to just be done with DMo

 

If Houston did do something dirty, what would they do to the team and/or Maury?

 

I think this has no legs, why would the Rockets take such a risk in a situation like this? They didn't take it with Parsons which was way better than D.Mo at the time, why do it in this situation? Doesn't make any sense to me.

 

Yeah, but none of it makes any sense, why wouldn't they have DMo on the team now? Why drag this out? It only makes the player and the FO look worse. This needs a resolution one way or the other, the Rockets need to move on from DMo and stop getting in the way of him playing elsewhere, or they need to let him join the team.
