I actually think this is a pretty relevant list...if he can do it for a full season AND show up in the playoffs, that would really be something. The Rockets are doing the right thing by letting their young players play with no restrictions...full confidence. I look forward to the future.

Basketball History Teacher Don Grahamleone gives you: Incredible Research

    9. Tim Duncan
    10. Artis Gilmore
    11. Bob Pettit (probably did it but they did not record blocks)
    12. Elton Brand
    13. Shawn Kemp
    14. Willis Reed (probably did it but they did not record blocks)

And that's just the players I found using my brain-head. There might be more.

Kemp is listed. Duncan technically averaged fewer than 11 boards/36 (but for his rookie year you can round up). Brand, no. Gilmore was ABA, so I missed him.

I used the basketball-reference season finder, so you can take it up with them I guess.

    Ouch. I'm busted.

Edit: Duncan did it without rounding though. Rookie year. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/duncati01.html

Please note that your grade changed above.

Either way, Clint's still in good company, which is the real point.

Nurkic also makes the cut if you take away the minutes requirement, it's too bad the Nuggets are such a dumpster fire.

Per 36 is deceiving and less relevant in this case because Clint can only play about 20min at this productivity level.

Tell the truth. You're really just trying to increase Capela's trade value so that we can get true NBA superstar Ricky Rubio, aren't you?

He gets easy baskets because he positions himself nicely on pick and rolls.

Agreed. Just to add on to what you're saying, I love how he is mastering one thing at a time. He's got the pick and roll down. He is developing his jump hook. Once he gets the post moves down then he can start passing. He is definitely more in control and working more on positioning on defense taking what comes at him.
